Shu Uemura Edo Komon Fall 2007 Collection

The Edo Komon collection is now available on Shu Uemura’s website.

Another ho-hum collection that I probably won’t bother any time with! I adore Shu but I can’t get excited about navy blue eyeshadow. Sorry Shu the wallet is remaining in the pocket this time around!

Is it me or do none of these colors work together? And by the very way the model on the left hand side is wearing a lovely cranberry color…where is that being offered? Did I miss something? And where’s the makeup video?

Is everyone out to disappoint me this Fall Season or am I total grouch?

Sigh.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Lynnderella here. Hello Mlle Muse. I have been snooping around Sephora for weeks hoping for a sniff of Fall collections and new products. I do feel like they are getting too mainstream and homogenized at Sephora, but there are some interesting things in store. A Too Faced Sparkler Glamour Gloss, for example. And I think that the Napoleon Perdis collection may hold some interesting surprises—they used to have it at Saks, but I could not bear the hovering sales people…. And there are always new mascaras to devour. I like your use of clot in the Excel review. LOL. Actually, it was a guffaw/snort out loud….

    Hello Princess Lynn 😉

Gosh I’d say mainstream hits it on the head. It’s quite like walking into CVS lately. Disappointing to say the least!

I like the look of the sparkler glamour gloss actually and always find the Too Faced Glosses pretty irresistible so that’s something to look forward too! However, it’s always disappointing when I purchase at full price and freaking Too Faced decides it’s a good idea to change the packaging and I find the original item on E-bay for mere pennies! RANT RANT RANT!

I can’t believe I’m about to say this…gulp….but the Napoleon Perdis seems awful pricey and the packaging isn’t even that cute! I seen maybe one or two items that looked interesting but nothing that totally grabs me! Goes to show you how much the brand appeals to me because I never knew Saks carried it! The MA’s at Saks are worse than the ones at Nordies if possible!

Hehe 😉 I give you license to use the word clot when referring to mascara from now on 🙂

According to the Japanese Shu website, the model on the left is wearing the Cream Eyeshadow Tobi and Pressed Eyeshadow in M Ebi and P Sakura. HTH!
