Benefit Throb

I’m so jumping on this Bandwagon! Yes, indeed!

I’ve been burned before (Click Here to read about my woes with Benefit) but I just have a good feeling about Benefit’s newest face powder called Throb! It looks downright perfect to me! Read about my love affair with Dandelion by clicking here and you’ll soon realize how Throb might very well be on it’s way to my favorite list!

I just ordered mine from Sephora (hey I had a Sephora Gift Card burning a hole in my pocket! Might as well indulge right?!)!

Expect to see my raving review for Benefit Throb soon! I just know I’m going to love this!

Gasp! I didn’t see that one while I was browsing through Sephora this afternoon! I usually breeze past the Benefit counter, but this would’ve stopped me dead in my tracks! Heck, I was so incredibly disappointed with Dandelion that I gave it away after a couple of weeks, but THIS! This one I would keep even if it didn’t work out, just to savor the sight of it and it’s packaging! Hopefully though, it looks as pretty on my cheeks as it does in the box!

Is it just me or is Benefit trying to break into Nars’ ‘titillating product name’ racket? I mean ‘Thrrrob’? ‘Orgasm’? My all time favorite will always be Alan Cumming’s ‘Cumming: The Fragrance’. What the hell does THAT smell like?

  • the Muse

    hey mandy 😉

    Hope your christmas was beautiful!

They probably didn’t have it out quite yet as I just noticed it hit on the site but says “out of stock”. Which normally means they are just getting it in! Later in the day it went on sale and soon after went back to say OfS.

I really love dandelion and I’m excited about this as the color looks near perfect for a really “flushing” look! Which is what I hope it delivers!

    Indeed Throb..Orgasm…O-Glow..Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Sex sales! hehe!

LOL! I well we all know what Cumming must smell like 😉 LMAO!

and with Allan Cumming’s wicked sense of humor my general idea definately doesn’t sound to strange!

Hmm… I can only imagine that Alan Cumming’s fragrance has magical properties- like landing you both movie roles and women that you don’t deserve(I mean, Saffron Burrows?!?).

Anywho, I’ve also ordered the ‘Thrrrob’ powder as well, in some sort of Legolas/Gimli LOTR 2 sense of one-upsmanship (No. Actually, I ordered it out of curiosity). As you’re based in NY, you’ll probably recieve your package tommorow, well before I recieve mine. But I’ll still slay more Orcs than you!

  • the Muse

I’ll have you know my Orc slaying abilities are far better than yours! You’ve no idea! I challenge you anyday! You’re speaking to an Level 70 Elite Tauren Chieftain (I made that part up but in my dreams I’ve leveled up that high).

I thought he was quite gay to be honest but Saffron Burrows is most definately a ladeeeeee! I find him sexy to be honest 😉 Something about the quirkiness does it for me!

You realize that we are somehow outting ourselves as the geeks we are on here. Stop bringing up orcs and LOTR you’re killing my cover up as a girly girl!

    hehe!

not sure what gave us away more the leet speak (ie the internetz and the lolcat references) or the fact that we are now discussing LOTR!

    How very un-cosmetic like!

is that a word? un-cosmetic? If not I demand it to be written into the English language!
