Urban Decay Limited Edition Shattered Collection

I think Urban Decay is half-baked.

First of all I can’t begin to tell you what a big Urban Decay fan I am! I love, love, love the brand!

But today I’m just feeling confused.

They sent me an E-mail this afternoon trying to get me all hyped about their new Limited Edition Shattered Collection! MY GOD Only 50 are being made!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Um…

So?

What’s the point? It contains nothing that’s LE.

Urban Decay’s Limited Edition Shattered Collection (Only 50 are being made! My god get yours NOW before it’s too late!)

The collection includes a mini primer potion, Shattered Eyeshadow, Glitter Eyeliner in Air Guitar, and a mini 24/7 eyeliner pencil!

The price is nice sure but I’m wondering why only 50 are being made and why it’s so highly limited edition?

When you think about it you’re not really getting that big a deal. Glitter liners are $18 each anyway and so are UD Shadows. So what they threw in a mini eye pencil and a small primer potion!

Hell, if you want you can pick up Shattered and Air Guitar any day of the week!

I’m so confused.

Almost as confused as I was when Sephora decided to throw me that curve ball with the Colorful Story Palette! Didn’t hear about that? Click here for the details!

I’m clueless as bloody hell so Jeers to you Urban Decay! You’re obviously smoking from the same pipe as Sephora!

What the hell?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Forr some reason I think that was regularly a UK thing, did you see the special UK version of that one pallette? Why can’t I think of it’s name…maybe the Urban Survival Kit or Urban Arsenal? The one without the blush in Score. Either way we had 2 different ones with different names but they basically had the same colors but the one didn’t have blush. So anyway, the UK one had blue shades: Kiddie Pool, Goddess, Uzi, & Midnight Cowboy (still!!! I don’t like that situation, personally but to each their own) & was SO much prettier, especially for brown eyed girls, like myself, instead of the same old brown business. It was the one with the holographic cover. Why am I posting on something so old…?

hmmm don’t think I seen that one sparkly but collections come and go so quickly perhaps I did 🙂 I’m unsure which palette that one is? I have lots of ’em but it doesn’t sound familiar to me! but does sound lovely. Kiddie Pool, Midnight Cowboy, Uzi, all favs 🙂 so I’d probably love that palette!
