Happy Monday!

Happy Monday girls (and guys)!

Sadly, no new updates for the Muse today. I have about 5 good entries to post but sadly Blogger is still in weekend mode and refuses to work for me.

Dunno what’s going on but I’m unable to upload pictures. It’s definately not a problem on my side but nothing on the maintenance page from Blogger either. Sigh.

How very irritating!

I’ve tried in several browses including Safari and no joy! So sadly, updates have to wait a while until this is fixed up!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

I needed to get my mind off a few things so I really kept myself busy this weekend! I ended up going to two movies with friends, shopping with some friends, brunch with some friends I haven’t seen in a while, helped my mum get her Easter dinner shopping done, went to visit my cousin, did Spring closet and makeup cleaning, went to a poetry reading, went to a book signing, and a bunch of other stuff. All this excluding sleep lol! I’m kidding 😉

How about you?

What did you do this weekend?

It was major cold here. Strong winds about 26 degrees out! Brrrr! But it felt good walking along in a warm jacket and gloves. Sometimes it just feels nice to be out in the cold weather!

Anyway!

Updates to come as soon as Blogger decides to cooperate! This little problem should get my arse in gear to get my own website up and rolling and do away with Blogger completely!

Back to work with my lazy self!

Cheers!

PS Good news. I was able to locate the Horizon Blush in Pink! w00t! I’ll be reviewing it shortly 😉

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Sounds likes you had a pretty packed weekend! Alas, I can’t say the same for me. Although, I did get out and take some much needed donations to the Goodwill, returned a few nearly bought items and purchased some more in their place. It was in the mid 60’s here in the Sunshine State (and that’s cold for us Floridians! Lol). Other than that, I slept and caught up on some entertaining reality tv on VH1. I lead such an exciting life! LOL. Not. :]

    hey Muse!

went to Philly this Sat. – yep, during the freezing cold rain and crazily strong wind and everything! nuts, i know. my dad was in town for a conference, so eno and i went to see him with a friend.

i’m actually not a joursey native, you see. i’m from Boulder, CO. my folks are still there and i don’t get to see them often haha anyway, had brunch at Sabrina’s Cafe – LOVELY meal! shoot, i’m hungry just thinking about it now. it was french toast stuffed with mascarpone, apples, and grapes with vanilla walnut syrup and apple-rasberry sauce. omigod it was good. yum…it was worth all the mud and cold soak and the 40+ blocks walk from the train station. nothing stands between D and her food. yah. i make pilgrimages for food.

    alrighty, back to work 😀

Stupid blogger. I command you to work so that I might read my updates!

    Hi Muse!

Wind blew a lot last week here, but now it’s just grey and rainy, although they say tomorrow will be sunny. I hope so, I need it.

Tomorrow I’ll get my fafinettes (at least!) and my T-shirt is on its way to me right now. Can’t wait!

Next week I’m going to Madrid and I’ll visit the only Pro Store (pigments heheheheheheheheheeeee!!!!)

    Hugs!

Yay for finding the Horizon Blush in Pink! I look forward to your review (would be even better if you post up pictures of you with it on)! 😉

And thanks for the nice comment. Haha, yeah, I try hard to keep my hair free of chemicals and products (no blow dry, no perm, no dye). And Joico Moisture Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner work wonders!

    Hey Amy!

I tried to keep really busy 😉 I returned some items as well =-) to Sephora! Hehe!

60’s is cold for Florida. It’s funny as I sometimes go to Florida in the Spring around March, April or May and I’m always fascinated how cold I am in the mornings when I’m there. It’s almost like being home!

Aw hell sounds exciting to me! Chillaxin’ is always in style 😉

    Hey D!

    Whatcha doing my friend 😉

Oh sweet! Philly is awesome however not so awesome during the rain and wind hehe!

My god and I had thought the way you say joursey you were a native, born and raised 😉

How long have you been in NJ?

God CO is beautiful. Lucky you to have lived there!

mascarpone stuffed french toast god that sounds like ambrosia! I’m hungry now hehe!

LOL Pilgrimages for food is definately something I’m all over LOL!

    You crack me up 😉

    Happy Tuezday!

    hey Adina!

hehe 🙂 I found a quick fix until blogger starts working again so you won’t miss any posts 😉

    Love ya!

  • the Muse

    hi PaoPao!

I could use some sun too. It’s been sorta damp, cold, and windy here. Although there are faint traces of Spring around!

YAY! Which fafinettes did you get? All three? I’m sad as the t-shirt is too small for me. I wish they’d have made an XL!

WAHOOOOOOO piggies! Enjoy 😉 Tell us what you get 🙂

    *hugs*

  • the Muse

    hiya liz!!!!

wahooooo!!!!!! I’ll sure do both 🙂 Promise!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re most welcome! Your hair is freaking awesome. When I let mine down it just springs all over the place!

I keep my hair chemical free too. My shampoo doesn’t even contain silicons but still no joy 🙁 My hair misbehaves big time!

    sigh!

    Hope you’re well today!
    *hugs*

Hmmm, come to think of it, I’ve yet to see you with your hair down! 😛

I used to have the same problem, the ‘lioness’ syndrom. :8 But then about 12 years ago, I met a hairdresser that really knew what he was doing with the scissors. Now whenever I get the chance to visit my parents in Taiwan, I always book an appointment with him. A good hair cut is key to the low maintenance lifestyle I abide by. 😀

    Hi Liz!

Problem redeemed 🙂 I just did my hair down in my biore post 😉

I agree a good stylist is hard to come by and maintain ice daily on your hair is key! I’m awful though when it comes to styling! It’s normally up in a bun right after I step from the shower 😉

    *hugs*
