theBalm Sexy Mama, Two-Timer Mascara, and to the Rescue Lip Treatment

theBalm has updated it’s collection with a few Spring releases that may interest you!

I was particularly impressed with the new mascara they released which is very close to the design of Fairy Drops Mascara (Click!) that I had previously reviewed. This is a dual sided mascara which offers an end for volume and end that will separate and plump lashes! The mascara is $19 USD and available from Sephora right now!

Also introduced is the Sexy Mama Translucent Powder which is an invisible blotting powder to absorb excess oil! I love the cute retro print on the cover! Cute right? This is $18 USD and available now as well!

Lastly is to the Rescue Lip Treatment which is $14 USD. The gloss is completely vegan and the sale of each balm goes to the rescue of Pugs. The gloss is a clear lip treatment that conditions and protects lips!

All in all some very nice releases from theBalm. I’m a sucker for their cute packaging!

Want any of these?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Ahh.

That mascara just explains my pet peeve….i absolutely hate double wand mascaras. Wearing mascara is already enough effort so why does it need two frickin’ sides. The funny thing is i’m pretty sure they could have mixed the formulation so it just ends up on one side. Or maybe it’s just my hatred for uneccessary stress.

Having said that, i’m in love with the packaging of the translucent powder and the lip treatment. Me likey very much. But i won’t be tempted to buy as my Dior powder has worn my heart and is now a firm favourite.

    hi Allysia-May!

Me too kinda so that’s why I’m not bothering.

No I totally agree what’s the point of two ends?

I love love love the packaging on the powder. It reminds me of the Hot Mama packaging but cuter 🙂

I’m going to review the Dior soonish 🙂 Be on the look out 😉

Actually, that mascara is only one formula. The idea is that the brush is the difference, and you can use whichever brush you like with it. When one side is done, you can just flip the tubes, and you can use the other side with the brush you want. (Hence the two brushes, one formula, endless possibilities comment at the top of the ad).

I’m actually thinking of picking up this mascara just because of that. I can use one tube, but have different ways of using it. Really helps cut down on travel items ^_^.

hi kaoru! AHHHHHHHHH! Duh we missed the marketing boat on this one! I thought it was diff formulas!

Oh no I feel a lemming myself now as the applicators looked interesting plus it’s not that expensive!
