Playing with Heatherette’s Trio 1 today!
It came out crap. I hate my lips, hate my cheeks, but I do like my eyes a bit. I’m also totally pms’ing so my skin is a MESS!
Anyway!
For the longest time I was puzzling over how best to use the palette and then yesterday I was visiting with Silver Lips and I totally stole her Heatherette look! It was pure perfection. I never really thought to use the palette like this in all honesty and I’ve been sitting on it for a bit now trying to think how to incorporate the darkest shade into my look. Call it a senior moment but this was suddenly a difficult task for me!
And behold I duped Silver Lips look and thought it came out rather lovely and user friendly as hell!

I honestly don’t see why you hated your cheeks and lips colors. The overall outlook is gorgeous.
Off the topic, but I already have a turquoise shadow from Shu Uemura, and I just didn’t dig Fafi rolickin’ and heatherette palette cos the turquoise shadows are similar. What do you think? Should I go for trio 1?

Nope. Don’t bother. Save your money for naughty natuicals. Lots of good shades of blues and aquas in that collection.
I really am not particularly loving the Heatherette Trios. Unless you love the packaging and are a really big mac collector you can safely skip. I’m positive the Shu color is much more vibrant then this particular shade!
I just felt the trios were a disappointment aside from the packaging!
Especially a big no since it’s probably more in Indonesian than it is here in the states. Ours are $32.50 USD so I imagine it’s $10-$12 raise on top of that on your end!

nics unless you’re loving the packaging and are a diehard mac fan you can skip in my opinion. they weren’t that great. mac has some better blues/aquas coming out soon! Save your money for that!
especially considering it’s expensive in the UK compared to here!
