Sugar Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks Baked Blush

Oooo look what I came across!

Since I’ve grown rather fond of bronzing powders this new compact from Sugar Cosmetics has caught my eye!

Sugar Cosmetics Sweet Cheeks Baked Blush is available in two shades Cupcake and Gingerbread for $24 USD each.

I’m wondering if these are those massive compacts that Sugar puts out! Know the ones?

I’m dead curious about how shimmery they are! Looks rather gorgeous from what I can see!

Cupcake seems more pinky while Gingerbread is a warmer shade!

I feel a strange lemming for both!

Anyone with me?

Almost Fall but the force is strong for these compacts! Expect some sort of review shortly I imagine!

    ooh!
    These are pretty!

    I’m thinkin’ I don’t own enough blush!

They had them out at my local Sephora and they were fully gorge, especially the light pink/lavendery one. They had considerable sparke; but when dusted on were more a soft glow than a David Bowie Ashes to Ashes. I wanted one, but having just ordered a schload of stuff from adambeauty and sasa thought I’d be good.

that’s so funny i should see this product on your blog! just yesterday, i was looking for some blushes online (needed to upgrade my collection), came across that, and immediately added it to my wishlist. i visited sugar’s website after reading this entry, and it appears to be part of their fall collection. hmm…

i was at sephora and totally checked this out. i think i spent a good part of my visit just holding onto one and staring at it. i want it so bad! that gingerbread is really really nice! it’s been a WHILE since i lusted after make-up like this. i also saw those humongous tropic tan compacts (should they even be called “compacts” when they’re that big?). if only the sweet cheeks were that huge. 🙁

    hi jkim!

I haven’t been yet but just reading your deets has me drooling! Is it very shimmery!?

Those things are ridiculous in my humblest. They are huge. Size of my head. Imagine the mess applying?!

ah. alas, the sweet cheeks are normal sized – they fit right in the palms of our hands (with plenty of room left over). from what i remember, they weren’t TOO shimmery – just a nice, light shimmer you’d expect from a decent blush, if that makes sense. and the colors aren’t as dark as they appear in “cake” form. i’m sort of light/medium-toned, and the gingerbread was really really nice. not too dark, but not too pale, not too red, not too orange… just right (didn’t even bother with the cupcake – just knew it would be too pale and purply for me). … urg! stop! i just bought a new blush yesterday!!! :-I must. control. urges. !!! sob.

    morning jkim!

Did I mention how much I enjoy our little chats here 😉

if they are pigmented I won’t mine the size 🙂

I was kinda worried about all that purple but the gingerbread sounds very very me!

LOL! Go for it 😉 am I helping? hehe!
