lelf E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer

My tea is happily dribbling down my monitor at the moment as after seeing this advert I couldn’t help but cough.

Isn’t this kinda like comparing apples and oranges?

I’m unsure if a $1 Tinted Moisturizer can hold it’s own next to Laura Mercier’s rather awesome version!

But tickle me curiosity!

I’m ordering some just in case!

6001 E.L.F. Tinted Moisturizer

I’ve tried it and I was impressed for a dollar! But you do not get a lot either in comparison to the normal size tubes. Also, it sometimes settles when it sits there

I want to see the review you do on this. XP

It is very, VERY bold of e.l.f. to pimp their tinted moisturizer to what I consider a holy grail of tinted moisturizers.

on the uk one they compare their all over colour stick to nars blush stick. im a bit dubious about elf now because i had a really nasty reaction to their liquid eyeliner! looking forward to seeing your comparisons on the two tinted moisterisers lol

hiya Inspiring Beauty Creator!

how are you my friend?

yuk no likey the settling part…do you mean in congeals into an oily mess like some cheaper cosmetics do :P

I agree the size is way smaller than what you’d purchase from LM so comparing the two is a bit ridiculous!

hi there abbey!

WHAT!? Are they insane? This should be illegal hehe!

oh lord…! Sorry to hear about the liner me love :(

Honestly, all the comparing to big name cosmetics puts me off :P come on it’s a $1 seriously now how can they compare it to a posher brand of cosmetic at that cost!?

Thanks for the comment!
Hope to speak to you again soon!

looking forward to seeing your review of this =)

That’s kind of a cocky ad, considering there stuff is like even ‘below’ than drugstore!

Some of their stuff for $1 isn’t bad, but that’s a hefty comparison!

Anyway…Hi Muse!!! I know I’ve been missing :P I hope all is well!!

Hey, did you ever get anymore of the MUFE HD Primers? I really want to try the Mauve one! Review, review! :)

I’m definitely going to pick up the MUFE HD finishing powder, I heard it’s awesome!

hey gee!!!!!!

Totally! and ew on there part :P

That’s a huge comparison and quite comical if it doesn’t leave up to it’s BIG claim :P

I missed you lots :) I’m good, busy as all hells but good!

How about you dear?

I did. I got the yellow, lilac, pink and green. I reviewed the yellow so far did you see my review?

I have a review for the HD coming up shortly :) so wait till I give the good word if you want hehe!

Big Hugs darling!
Nice to see you back!

Hey Muse!

Long time, huh? ;)

ELF just opened a French Website, they are overwhelmed of orders!Quite a success, for 1€!

But isn’t it illegal to advertise like this, using other brands’names??!!

I ordered too, just to try, and I must say the glosses aren’t that bad! They are quite pigmented and thicker than higher brands but they don’t stick.
They smell really chemical fragances (tooth paste-like mint, synthetic coconut, grapefruit…) but it’s okay for me, and it’s ok regarding the price!
And I must say the brushes are really good too!

I think if you’re accustomed with high -end brands, there is really little comparison possible…
I would have chosen LM …if I had the money!… lol

big hug!
I keep reading you!

Some of the e.l.f. stuff is ok, some of it sucks.

It may be smaller, but for only $3.00 or so, you can probably get the same amount of product. If it worked as well, or almost as well, that’s probably a lot cheaper.

I actually really liked their Ruby Kiss plumping lip glaze because I love how it made my lips tingle. (yes I’m strange) The other 2 lip colors I liked by them were in their custom lip stuff, Crimson and Sugar Plum. I didn’t really like their eye shadows much, but I did like their multi purpose shimmering facial whip. Pink Lemonade was pretty flattering on me.

Awww, I kind of like elf. Itsjudytime, one of my fave youtube chicks, uses a lot of their products. They may not live up to LM and co, but for high schoolers or young gals with little disposable income I think it’s a great option.

hi Lilyvanille!

Very long time, good to see you!

I bet considering the price is right!

I was thinking the same thing and I imagine if LM really wanted to she could sue them for the advertisement..but I’m not really sure.

I actually haven’t tried any E.L.F but I did purchase ALOT for a friend in Japan and some of the items looked decent which shocked me lol!

Funny you mention the brushes as they are on sale for 45% off this week lol! Maybe I need to indulge!

I think it’s the price is definately for those doing beauty on a budget ;)

Big hugs back!
Thanks for the comment :)
Hope to hear from you again soon!

hey dd :)

I haven’t tried any of it so I am vaguely curious although I have to say the mineral powder shadows look nice!
The stuff you mentioned sounds interesting. Since I’m def buying the TM out of curiosity I might pick up a few other items as well for blog research hehe!
