Bare Escentuals Extreme Glimmers Kit

Ahhh!

Glitter!

The Muse likey glitter so when she seen Bare Escentuals Extreme Glitter Kit she knew she must have it! Now!

The kit includes three Bare Escentuals Extreme Glimmers with “mega-watt” sparkle….doesn’t this sound soooooooo Muse-like? I mean seriously, mega-watt sparkle? It has my name written all over it! I simply know that Bare Escentuals was thinking all about ME when they created this kit!

What you get:

  • Bare Minerals Extreme Silver Eye Color
  • Bare Minerals Extreme Plum Eye Color
  • Bare Minerals Extreme Bronze Eye Color
  • Glimmer Brush
  • Sample Size Prime Time Eyelid Primer

$32 USD for the set! I like the price but the shadows are sized at 0.01oz eep! That’s really tiny….if you recall I recently reviewed the Bare Escentuals Rocker Eye Kit and the shadows included were 0.02 oz in size and that was pretty small and these are downsized a bit….

I’ll definately be purchasing this kit for myself however the smaller and smaller size does disappoint me as I’ve always associated Bare Escentuals with getting more for less but I guess nothing stays the same especially with the economy the way it is at the moment.

Bare Escentuals Holiday/Winter Collection is shaping up nicely if they keep releasing sparkling kits like this one the Muse will be very happy!

Like this one?

Want it?

Tell the Muse!

I’ll be reviewing it for you shortly as soon as I get my greedy little hands on it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I want to see how tiny the jars are. My goodness, 0.1 oz probably has around 1/4 teaspoon of stuff in there.

  • the Muse

I can’t WAIT to see the Dao!

    Dead curious about the size!

I’m just hoping the sparkle will blind me to the ridiculous size!

    Hi Izzy,

How’re you doing, girl? It’s horrible that BE is getting pricier and pricier. There’ve been quite a lot of complaints on the BE board over at QVC. And I know many ladies have switched to smaller companies that offer loose pigments for much more reasonable and affordable prices like Theshespace.com which sells pigments at $4.50 a pop (3g jar).

Anyway, hope you’re having a lovely week! Seen the new Guerlain Midnight Butterfly collection promo images yet? It looks totally like something you’ll like!

    holy cow iris!

That’s def a me collection! I normally stop your way first thing in the AM but I got caught up this morning and missed this!

Fantastic! Brilliant really…I def want it all lol!

I’m saddened how much smaller and smaller BE is getting..it’s a bit ridiculous at this point to go that tiny…and I agree we can just go to different mineral etailers and get more for less 🙁

I miss you dear. We haven’t talked in ages..my fault completely 😛

    *hugs*

I need your new addie 🙂

It kind of looks like BE’s pricing is going up with their rise in popularity. I’ve never been a BE girl though, just observing it.

That’s a tiny size for the amount. While pretty, I’d highly recommend Aromaleigh’s glitter is really nice, and definitely not priced that high. For the colors it looks like you get in the BE kit, you could probably sub AL’s Masquerade, Masshysteria, and rebelrebel. They’re $5.25 each, unless you catch them on sale, and then they’re 25% off. I think they’re sold in the 5 gram jar sizes, and they say they’re net weight 2 grams. I’ve never tried the AL primer, but it’s $9.50, though I prefer the indelible eyeliner sealant when I’m playing with glitter, which is $4.00.

Regardless, I’d love to see you do a glam glitter look 🙂
I love glitter, I just don’t have an excuse to wear it very often.

    hey dd!

Seems so 🙁 but I also think it has alot to do with the economy 😛

Aromaleigh does have create alternatives but I’ll prob still buy this as I am so sick lol!

But of course, your wish is my command 🙂 I’m glitter queen lol!

I find too many excuses to wear it 😛

    WAY too many 🙂

    hi Leeann!

Me too! Glitter queen here 😉

Even though the size is obscene I still wants it 🙂

    lol!
