Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick Blush Review

All the convenience of a powder blush in a cream formula? Hmmmm must try says the Muse!

Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick Blush was introduced as part of the brand new Clinique Fall Collection 2008 entitled Modern Matte.

Mattes are outside my range but considering I’ve been very open and adventurous lately when it comes to matte shadows I decided to test these out! I’ll be bringing you a review shortly but for now I did want to introduce you to the new Blushwear Cream Stick Blush in Shy Blush!

Becoming friends with a blush in a stick form truly isn’t that hard! It’s convenient, easy to apply, and pigmented enough to make me blush all day long plus the color I have, Shy Blush, is the ideal warm color for Fall!

The formula is moisturizing and long wearing plus leaves behind a rather nice sheen of color. As I mentioned the color I have is Shy Blush which is a brownish peach with hints of bronze. The color leaves behind a very natural finish that lends a nice warmth to cheeks for the Fall season!

If you’re looking for an inexpensive, pigmented blush option that’s easy to apply and offers a flattering, natural finish this is worth checking out!

Clinique Blushwear Cream Stick Blush is available now from Clinique! Do check out the other shades available, the Muse has her eye on Very Blush!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. It looks way more flattering on your cheeks than it does in the swatch. On my screen the swatch looks sort of bronzey, but it looks very pretty on you.

    How was your weekend?

  • the Muse

agreed dd! It looks rather dark in the tube but beautifully natural on 🙂

    Thanks honey appreciate the compliment!

Weekend was awesome, felt rather long 🙂

That looks really pretty on you. I may have to try this…*sigh* my lemmings list just grows and grows…But I know Clinique has a very nice GWP beginning Nov 5th, so……

I’m glad you posted this. One of my favourite blush sticks come from TM but it’s been discontinued. I haven’t found anything as lovely since. Do you know how the Clinique compares to the Shiseido one?

  • the Muse

You know, I’m sad to say, I never tried the Shiseido one 🙁 that stinks right?

I must say though that the clinique is cheaper 🙂

Hey, these look interesting, might have to give it a go. I am starting to really like cream/liquid blush, it looks so natural!

  • the Muse

I thought so too dancing girl! Very natural and fresh 🙂

I’m digging cream and liquid too especially since my skin is beginning to get that winter dryness I hate so much 😛
