Prescriptives False Eyeslashes Mascara Review

With all the new plastic applicators coming out all over the mascara world sometimes you might want kick it old school with a simple, mess-free, easy to apply brush applicator.

Ahhh remember the days of old when brushes were so hip and everyone was using ’em? The mascara world is slowly being dominated by combs, plastic brushes, and other interesting gadgetry to bring tech and awesomeness to mascaras far and wide!

Now the Muse loves all the high tech mascaras currently available on the market today but if you’re wanting to keep to the basics, you might want to try out Prescriptives False Eyeslashes Mascara. Prescriptives keeps it simple with a standard, large brush applicator that’s meant to give the appearance of false lashes. Aside from the otherworldly appearance of the mascara packaging there isn’t much in the ways of bells and whistles when it comes to this particular Prescriptives mascara and sadly I wasn’t treated to the appearance of falsies after using it however it does stand up there on it’s own and delivers length and volume to lashes.

If you’re looking for a standard mascara that’s pretty much mess-free without the drama or learning curve of a brand new, high tech applicator this is for you. The Muse doesn’t prefer something with a bit more kick but she recommends this one if you’re looking for simplicity!

Prescriptives currently has this in a kit which also includes a basecoat and eye makeup remover! The entire kit is $26 USD and is tucked in a cute silver makeup pouch! So if you’re wanting to try this out you might want to snag the kit and save a few bucks plus get some other nice goodies to try out!

I’m not Muse Approving this for purchase simply because it’s a pretty basic mascara and the Muse kinda digs new and exciting applicators however I did think it was well worth a mention for those who are a tad bit scared of the new applicators out on the market today or those who aren’t so fab at mascara application. This is a nice, basic, mess-free mascara that offers good volume and length to lashes without all the who-ha that comes attached to newer mascaras.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
