Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Gold Label Review & Swatches

Sometimes the Muse feeds into her own frenzy as when she seen Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Gold Label the two words that jumped out at her was Super and Gold. Obviously if it was super and gold the Muse needed it!

After reading the back which stated, “Gold and Caviar Extract…” she knew this indeed was the BB Cream for her! My god, gold and caviar? It has to work with those ingredients in it! I am almost positive but not quite sure that Robin Leach must surely use Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Gold Label!

Yeah boy! Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams with Skin79 Gold Label BB Cream biatches!

All kidding aside unlike my recently reviewed Etude House Magic BB Cream it manages to feature all the great things you want in a BB Cream! Whitening? Check. Anti-Aging/Wrinkle Coverage? Check. SPF? Check. The kitchen sink? Check. Robin Leach? Their working on that. Aside from the ridiculous factor and the fact that the details on the back of the box are in quite bad “Engrish” I am quite fond of Skin79 Gold Label and it’s another one of my favorite BB Creams that I’ve tested, tried, and loved.

One of the best things about this particular BB is the wonderful packaging. The cream comes in a similar style packaging as Tricia Sawyer Skin Balancing Water Primer which is a nice size pump jar that easily distributes as little or as much of the product as you want simply by pressing heavier or lighter on the depressor.

This will sound weird but the texture of the cream has a heavy yet light feel. It manages to feel quite heavy on your finger but on your face it’s nice and airy and once blended it feels like you have virtually nothing on your skin. It offers extremely good coverage and I think it’s safe to say it’s good for mild to heavier coverage however if you have major problem areas you’re looking to cover up you may need something with a bit more pigmentation or perhaps use alot of this. The color is somewhat beige but it also has a certain grayness to it which is a trait I’ve noticed with whitening BB creams. Though the product blends beautifully and adjusts quite well to my tone it deserves to be mentioned that it does cast an unnaturalness to my skin but I’m not very bothered by this as once my makeup (blush, etc…) is applied this goes away and I’m once again left looking natural. As with most BB’s I’ve tried I didn’t notice any significant change in my under eye area after use and my dark circles needed extra prepping and coverage after using this. Although BB’s make the hefty promise of being your one stop shop for skincare nirvana I beg to differ as I’ve always had to use a concealer afterward so obviously this won’t be taking the place of my concealer anytime soon! Needless to say if you don’t have a ton of woes or drama under your eyes this may likely be perfect for covering up your smaller problems however darker circles, puffiness, and fine line ladies may need an extra helping hand!

Blending…….

Blending….

Blended

Taking into consideration that BB’s not only offer coverage in the here and now but also work at creating long lasting effects I do agree that Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Gold Label has caused a considerable change in my skin (or the Muse could be just feeding right into that frenzy again! One can never tell!). I noticed my dull skin was looking quite lively after 4 months of use…almost like I was a teenager again! It also had a lasting whitening effect as my skin looked quite even and brighter after continued use of around 6 months of use.

Okee dokee here be the Muse wearing some of this BB cream! Sorry but I’m looking really tired here to say the least! I actually literally applied everywhere even my lips to cover up the pinkness of my lips and prep for lipstick and gloss! You can see that it has a bit of an unnatural glow to it….weirdly enough it reminds me of how my skin looks when I am sick or not feeling well…but after makeup application my skin ends up looking quite flawless!

All in all I do so Muse Approved Skin79 Super Beblesh Balm Gold Label for purchase and it does remain a favorite of mine.

I got mine for a mere $10 USD and a bit of change when Skin79 had a sale however unless you’re in Korea or have Korean connections you’ll have to pay $20 USD and upwards on various sites but I do believe it’s well worth up to $50 USD as it’s a fantastic BB Cream!

All in all loving this one! I’ll be bringing you a review of Skin79 Classics’s formula shortly so keep your eyes peeled!

How about you?

What are your favorite BB Creams?

Tried this one?

Love it?

    I like the packaging!
    What’s up with the whitener?
I keep wanting to try a bb creme.
I need to convince myself to follow your guide to ordering on asian sites.

    • Swt Azn Qt

In East Asia, products that claim to produce a whitening effect are extremely popular as Asians like to whiten their skin, while Asians who live in the Western countries like to tan their skin as it’s extremely popular with the Western people. But I, myself, like to whiten my skin instead of darkening it, since think it looks better that way for me, as an Asian! LOL! =D

  • Askmewhats

Now I am getting more confused..I am choosing between for BRTC, Le’gere and now, THIS adds to the list! !!!!

  • Betty

Hi Muse! Thanks for another great review! I’ve been eyeing this and the pink one for quite some time now haha. You seem to have a LOT of BB creams! I’m wondering..what are you top 5 BB creams? 😀

  • Connie

Hi Muse! My first post to you while searching for reviews of this BB cream online and came across your site. I have easily pore clogging and breakout skin, do you think it’s suitable for me as the silicone content is quite high in this cream? Also, what kinda cleanser you use at night to remove it? I really don’t like cleansing oil but I’m afraid just a cleansing milk/cream won’t be enough to do the job? Thanks!! =)

  • Angie Twe

    Howdy!
Which BB cream is better Muse?
    Skin79? Skinfood?

    • the Muse

skin79 angie. I think I answered this in another of your comments?? haha!

  • Swt Azn Qt

Hi again! Thanks for your previous helpful replies! =D I really love the immediate and visible whitening effect without it whitening too much as if it’s giving off a ghostly effect! LOL! =P But I prefer the ones in a tube though as I hate it when a little bit dries out after using the products that have a pump built into them though…by the way, did you get yours off from Ebay? I’ve seen them around at Asian malls but never bought one from there as I was afraid that I might ended up getting a fake one from an unauthorized dealer, and, in which, I personally don’t order from any unauthorized dealers when I shop online to avoid any fake products and/or fake scheming sites…LOL

    • the Muse

      hi swt azn

My pleasure! No I had a friend get it from Korea for me not ebay. Sadly, Don’t really know of shops that sell it online which are trusted, true.

  • Swt Azn Qt

Oh! I forgot to mention that Bobbi Brown will be launching the 1st BB Cream here in North America! I can’t wait! =D

  • Nikki Lim

i definitely recommend this stuff… haha… being an asian myself… i find this BB cream works the best!!! I have “sensitive” skin but i don’t break out with pimples everytime i use a bad product (like what other ppl usually have), my skin just turn plain dull and lifeless… i find that when i used this product, my skin tone actually improved… but since i live in Malaysia, where the scalding hot sun is, I don’t find the whitening effect that helpful to me.

One thing I love about this product is that it is a GREAT PRIMER (it doesnt show on the packaging) !!! after i slap this on my face, and wear my usual “everyday” foundation and concealer, it literally stays all day long. The most shocking thing is that even after i play sports (which is the time when i literally sweat like crazy), the foundation and the concealer still remains intact… i know this because my neck and my face shows a diff color…haha…

Love your blog, muse!!! thumbs up for all the great stuff u review!!!

  • Nikki Lim

o ya.. forgot to include one more thing… u can check whether it is real or not if there is a clear and smooth silver seal at the back.. http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RGym-3fhZ-Y/TbyeupyjG_I/AAAAAAAAAKc/WFAh8NvCB7I/s1600/DSC06213.jpg

gently peel off the seal and stick it back… if the seal shows some ridges for the peeled part when u stick it back then the BB cream is genuine…

if there is no seal or if the seal already had ridges in it, then you will know that you have just received a fake product..the pump should work perfectly fine (with no mishaps)… and there should be no mentioning of whatsoever websites that is affiliated with skin79 below the description part of the BB cream bottle..

    hope this helps!!!

  • Kate

Hi I have been really wanting to try these! I have red hair and very fair skin, would you recommend this product or the one in the pink bottle?

    • Kamagrian

I know you didn’t ask me, but I’m a fair redhead (I’m in Scotland, there are lots of us here!), and I use various BB creams. The Skin79 one I have is The Oriental Gold, which is quite greyish on application but looks nice once it’s settled in. It’s just on the cusp of being too dark for me, but I can get away with it and I heard it’s the lightest of Skin79’s offerings. I also highly recommend BRTC Jasmine Water BB Cream, which is a lovely shade for us lighter ladies, and smells amazing. Missha Perfect Cover in #13 is nice and fair too, and has decent coverage. Hope that helps. 🙂

      • Chels

Hey Kamagrian, just wanted to thank you as your response helped me as well.

I JUST JUST(like an hour ago in the mail! yay!) got my pink skin79 bb cream and it just barely gets my skin tone, it’s just a bit dark. (thank goodness summer is coming, I’ll try to get my burn-then-tan on, also ridonkulous pale). So it’s nice to get feedback on what works for people with similar traits.

Thanks again, I bookmarked those for my future purchasing!

        • Kamagrian

Chels, you just made my morning – thanks for the lovely comment. 🙂 Glad I could help!

  • Athena

Hey, I want to buy the Skin79 BB cream but Im stuck between the gold and pink label. What’s the different?…Which one is better

  • LK

Hey Muse…. i’m not sure you’re still answering question on this but i saw some of the online places that sell them how could i tell whether it’s a fake or real?

  • Katie

After reading your review, Bubz’s, and a slew of others on makeup alley, I finally decided on this one as my first BB cream! Really, who doesn’t want a product that whitens, has anti-aging properties, and spf, while offering a little bit of coverage? Can’t wait for my order to come in so I can try it ^^

  • Perilla

Unfortunately, you can’t tell if it’s fake or not until you get it. If you’re buying from eBay, a seller from China with suspiciously low prices should not be trusted. A girl told methat she got a fake an it was still doing her skin wonders, but I would NOT run the risk ofdestroyong my skin. If you google fakes, you can see that it looks like baby oil with a lump of foundation looking thing floating around with a disgusting consistency. The fakes have caused massive skin problems to lot of people. The ingredient list is directly copied from real bb cream, so you actually don’t know what’s in the fake. I would also assume that the one on amazon is fake as well, since the price is rather suspicious.

The real skin79 bb cream should be 20+ (dude, gold and caviar is in it, do you expect it to be sold for $6?) unless there’s a sale going on, but online it probably would never stray too far from the original price tag (like amazon, wtf, from 50 bucks to 16?)

I use missha watery bb cream, but my mom uses skin79’s gold label and it’s a pain in the butt to shop online because there are so many fakes floating around with who knows what in it. We try to go to shops ourselves and test out the consistency because most ofthe fake manufacturers and starting to revamp the fake packaging to match the real one. There are also two skin79 websites (the USA one and the North America one) which is really weird, because if you have the North America one then you shouldn’t need a USA one…and they both have different sales going on and different offers (e.g USA offers free shipping, NA has a sale going on)

=____= darn technology for making our lives worse! They counterfeit money, and now cosmetics? Leave us aloneeee

  • Brici

HEY muse, i’m wondering if you know if this website is legit, they sell this BB cream for $28

    • the Muse

hi brici that isn’t the original skin79 website. A few of my reader’s have ordered from them but that site is not associated with Skin79, it’s simply someone who is selling imports (or what I HOPE is an import) of the product. Just be careful should you buy from them.

  • Selena

You haven’t specified where we can buy this? Where did you buy this from? Sorry to annoy you, muse!

    • the Muse

selena I’m really confused there’s a link right in the post? look on the bottom of the post??? I suggested shops…?

    • the Muse

you replied that you re-read and saw the links? *looks utterly baffled* lol

      • Selena

I reread it in the other BB cream post, not this one. I didn’t read that part, thanks muse!

  • Angella

    i like this post

but i want to know whats the difference between BB poder (diamond and oriental /0
