20 Fabulous Favorites

The Muse’s favs are constantly changing, rearranging, and switching up!

Jump ahead to find out what twenty items are topping her favorite list (currently anyway…)!

Steam Cream has full on captured my heart and has saved my skin this season! Truly a miracle in a cute little tin this cream is an absolute must have as far as this Muse is concerned. Keep it tuned here for a Steam Cream coupon coming soon from your dear old Muse!

Although it’s a tad on the expensive side for a no brand brush, the Muse does so admit to absolutely loving and lusting after Aromaleigh’s Fiber Optic Blush Brush.

It’s dreary outside but I keep it Spring-like this month by wearing Milani Runway Eyes Wet/Dry Eyeshadow in Leaf Green. It’s been on my eyes twice already this week, obviously a fav!

I’m feeling the love in the air and all the Valentine mush that goes along with it. Keeping with the theme of romance I beef up my dull complexion with a brush of Benefit Thrrrob and I’m left looking pretty and pink!

My eyes sure can use a lift in the morning when all I’m wanting to do is crawl back into bed! I use a bit of theBalm Overshadow in No Money, No Honey on the inner corners of my eyes for a wake up call that can’t be beat.

Can it be true that I’ve fallen for a drugstore mascara? Guess that be the case considering I’ve been using L’Oreal Double Extend Mascara every single day for the past week! Whoa.

Perfection is house in a tiny KATE Dual Carat Eye Shadow Palette! GD-1 wakes my tired eyes up and makes me bright eyed and busy tailed once again.

Snow, snow, more snow….it’s ok I can transport myself to tropical good times by rolling on some Summer of Sin!

The Muse erases dullness from her skin with a pinch of pink and nothing does the job cheaper than MeMeMe PussyCat Cheek and Lip Stain. Tried and true favorite lately.

Keeping it real with the beauty budget world the Muse really likes Victoria’s Secret Beauty Rush Luminous Eye Shadow in Glow Nude…well it’s not all about the price, it also happens to apply quickly and easily for those days I’m not feeling like doing a full eye look!

I sweat the fact that I nabbed such a cool deal with my haul of Vincent Longo Shimmer Eye Souffles. Oasis is totally a favorite considering I used it at least 10 times last month! Whoa…how very faithful of the Muse. Do I get a major award for this?

Oh Aube Frutina how I love thee! You truly need no introduction but the Muse will say she’s favoring EX05 at the moment! Love that beige peach gloss!

Sexy and Seductive don’t come to mind when the Muse thinks of herself however the Korres Sugar Plum Gift Set brings that and more to the Muse’s eyes. Tried and true favorite and will remain as such until further notice.

My lips are terribly dry and chapped but I can cheap it up and save them by using my Soft Lips in Cherry!

Speaking of dry lips I don’t think my Lancome Baume Baiser every came off my favorite list….actually…I believe it’s been on there since Fall 2007.

I’m still in Holiday mode so gold is almost always the order of business with this Muse. I noticed this month I’ve been using my Aube Shimmering Powder in Gold for the better part of the last two months. Ha…interesting!

The Muse likes a pinch of pink and a hint of the sparkling bronze, gold look she can get when she tops all that pink with her Victoria’s Secret Diamond Luster Face Powder!

I’m getting my Stila Lipglaze bad self on after purchasing the Stila Gift of Glaze…can’t beat the price or the variety…totally a fav at this moment! I like saving money on rare occasions.

I’ve no idea what’s come over me but I’m actually digging on Jill Stuart perfume at the moment. I didn’t love it when it originally came out but lately I find myself hosing down with it in the morning…..whoa, what a turn of events! Check for fever I could be delirious!

I feel cute and sexy with my Etude House Cute and Sexy Eyes Palette from last Spring…please Etude House can we has another collection like that one? Loves it!

Well, I guess that wraps up what I’m currently loving at the moment…no worries it’ll change soon I’m sure.

How about you?

Name the Muse 20 items that you’ve been using a whole lot of lately!

Are they favs or just force of habit?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Help Musy!
I love your blog! I am 31 with combo skin. Meaning my t-zone is an oil slick by noon! I am really sensitive and minerals make me itch. (I noticed you said that too.) I really like liquid and cream. I have been using Stila Oil Free tinted moisturizer and I am still too oily, and it is gone in a flash. I have tried several things to no help. What is your recommendation for a foundation? What should I do oh master of all things beauty?
    Yours,
    Jennifer

      Hey Jennifer!

Ugh minerals make me itch like crazy!!!!!!! I’m a cream girl too 😀 sadly many oxidize on my skin in a flash too ;( Have you tried a good primer before foundation application? Primer def helps with the oily and shine. Also Philosophy makes a mattifying gel called never let them see me shine which is rather awesome, I use it in the Summer for an oily forehead. On top of this do you set your foundation with powder? Urban Decay’s Deslick Mattifying Powder is quite good for mopping up the shine.

I can’t really tell you a good foundation for oily skin as I’m not incredibly oily but more try but I do think a good primer and proper prepping will solve your problem 😀 and this in turn will let you get away with the foundation of your choice!

Hope this helps. Hehe not so much a master of all things beauty but more a tester of all of ’em 😀

      Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for the above question and answer! I have been having major oily probs of late. I am def. DEF. going to try that philosophy product mentioned above and I must recommend something I just recently started using daily as far as face primers go- Make-Up For Ever’s HD skin primer! That+blotting papers( or rice papers) + hard candy or laura gellar’s white-colored matte powders help a lot! They may look white in the packaging but can be used on any skin color.
