Remember when you were a kid and you’d go to the dentist and after your cleaning he’d give you a lollipop? Actually the Muse is a good deal older now but my dentist still calls me pretty girl and gives me a lollipop after my cleaning…..shrug….I get a kick outta it…
It’s all struck me as rather ironic that the man who checks my mouth for cavities is peddling free sugar to his clients but hey I’m not going to complain just give me the lollipop and no one gets hurt.
The moral of my story is that although Pur Minerals Pur Body Butter in Lemon Sage has alot of good things going for it, the most important trait would be the fact that it smells like a big old tart lemon sucker.
I doubt those crazy kids at Pur Minerals set out to have people thinking that their Pur Body Putter in Lemon Sage smelled like a big lemon sucker but that’s how things ended up for this Muse. The scent simply seals the deal for me as it smells tart and sweet at the same time. The lemon overpowers the sage in my humble opinion so you’re not left with an herbal scent but more of a candy-like lemon scent that truly appeals.
Pur Minerals Pur Body Butter absorbs fairly quickly and offers excellent moisturizing benefits for dry, cracked skin. The formula is fairly thick but absorbs easily and is packed with plenty of nourishing incidents that’s free of parabens.
Who might like to try it:
Anyone who likes the smell and taste of a lemon lolly!
- Anyone who suffers from rough elbows, knees, or heels.
- Those who want a body lotion that paraben-free.
The Muse loves this one and approves it for purchase! If you don’t believe me do check out the reviews on MUA and the Pur Minerals site…only raves!

I love that Stila is embracing it’s roots and packaging their new Stila Backstage with Lea Rose Collection in a cute little can! The can is cardboard but the Muse is still loving that they are taking things backwards and kicking it old school.

Mmmhmm the Muse listens to everything you say. Remember when some of us were complaining that Urban Decay 24/7 Liners just don’t stay put?
Have no fear!
Benefit to the rescue with it’s new Badgal Liner Waterproof……oooOoooOoo! Ahhh! Whoa….could this be the solution to lasting liner all day long?
This Muse doesn’t many problems in the liner department as she rarely wears eyeliner however she wouldn’t mind at all if she could find a liner that lasts all day without wearing out from her waterline!
Her waterline is one particular place where liner fails to stay. Although Urban Decay 24/7 Liners last pretty much all day the Muse does find a touch up here and there never hurts.
However, Benefit BADGal Eyeliner sounds exactly what she needs!
Promises to keep you rocking through rain or shine and lasts right up until you take it off. Sounds to good to be true? Maybe! Remains to be determined! The Muse must get her hands on some and see how well it holds up to her tests!

The Muse was feeling every so hopeful that the new Body Shop RoseFlower Lips would turn out as good as they looked in the promo pictures. Although for the most part it was the Roseflower Blush that called my name, I do so admit that the lippes were equally as beautiful.
Turns out they are beautiful and have a super fab formula to go along with ‘em too!
Read ahead to find out all about them!
I’m pretty impressed overall with The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Spring Collection. In particular I thought that The Body Shop paid special attention to packaging this year which didn’t go unnoticed by this Muse, whom happens to be a packaging junkie. The new RoseFlower lipsticks come housed in a crystal clear tube which for the most part isn’t anything too special however wrapped around the inside tube is a gorgeous pink overlay with pretty little rose flower emblems that totally tickled this Muse.
Aside from the uber pretty packaging the lipsticks themselves are truly a rather great find. I tried out two of the three shades and both were very pretty and flattering for the Spring weather. The formula is nicely moisturizing and leaves behind a shiny, glossy pigmented pout. As advertised the lipsticks contain organic beeswax and marula oil which repair the skin’s natural moisture barrier. In keeping with it’s rose theme the lipsticks taste and smell like a delicate rose which adds a certain charm to the overall lipstick. If you’re lips tend to be drier you’ll love the formula as gloss is completely optional considering that the lipsticks themselves leave behind a nice shiny lip look.
The colors I tried were Deep Pink and True Pink. Although both shades were lovely I thought True Pink was the better rose shade that paired up beautifully with pink cheeks and a pink eye look that I created this morning. Deep Pink is strangely named as there isn’t any question it’s pink but it’s more of a fun fuchsia shade rather than a true deep pink shade.
At $16 USD per a lipstick I didn’t think they were too badly price considering they deliver with a high quality lipstick and lovely packaging to go along with it.
Overall, I’m quite pleased with both shades and think I’ll add the 3rd shade to my collection. Perfect for your Spring looks, Roseflower Lips from the Body Shop are Muse Approved for purchase. The Muse liked ‘em alot!
