Shills Perfect Brightening Primer Review

Shills Perfect Brightening Primer promises the world. Prime, Protect, correct, and refresh tiredness all in one step plus anti-aging ingredients too! Whoa.

That’s alot of talk….does it work?

Jump ahead to find out!

I’ve known love and I’m pretty sure that love is Shills Perfect Brightening Primer. Possibly the best primer I’ve run across in a very long time with darling packaging, a sweet price tag, and a pretty scent, this primer sure does please a Muse.

What it promises:

It claims that it will prime skin creating a perfection canvas for foundation application. It also promises to protect with anti-aging ingredients and also promises to correct by evening out and whitening skin tone. And finally it promises to refresh my tired skin!

Actually it seems to successfully do just about everything it promises.

What it does:

I don’t have super large pores as you may may already know from past primer reviews but I think I can say that Shills Perfect Brightening Primer is thick enough to do a fairly good job of filling pores and creating a nice smooth surface for your foundation. The formula is thick and creamy but manages to absorb easily into the skin. It’s a very pale pink shade that smells floral and fresh, almost rose-like. After moisturizing a tiny dab of this preps my skin beautifully and allows my foundation to smooth on easier. The product does whiten ever so slightly but nothing ghastly or unnatural just a hint of brightness that relieves tired, dull skin and breathes new life into it. My foundation lasts an extra 2-3 hours after use which is surprising considering this isn’t a silicon base.

I can’t decide what I loved best about this but some things I adored were the beautiful smell, the way it made my skin look bright and less dull, the great way it smooths on and offers extra moisture and eases my foundation on. I can’t speak for the anti-aging elements but hey all the better if it does protect my skin against aging.

The foundation comes in a cute pink squeeze bottle with a little faux diamond tacked onto to the top. It’s sadly not a lot of product inside the tube but since you only need a little it should last you quite a while.

I paid retail for this which was $239TWD, I’ve seen it on E-bay for nearly triple it’s retail price which makes me wince in agony. I do think it’s worth at least $15 USD but I really hate that it’s been jacked up so badly. It’s well worth trying out and it’s Muse Approved for purchase by yours truly!

Who might like it?

  • Anyone who needs a thick primer to fill in pores
  • Those who want their foundation to last longer
  • Anyone who’s skin needs a little pick me up to go from dull to pretty

Overall, Shills Perfect Brightening Primer definately promises a whole lot of everything and quite successfully delivers it all. I really liked this one and think it’s worth tracking down for yourself.

      hi sally how are you?

did you read the review? All the details about how my skin reacted, what I thought, etc…are right in the review!

      hope this helps!

not sure nancy as it’s extra thick but it is Asian so possibly yes as most Asian girls suffer from oily skin so products are normally created with this in mind! It’s def not a silicon base and heavy, more moisturizing!

Basing from your review, it makes me want to buy it already; however, do you think it would be good for me since I have oily skin? 🙂 Thanks!

It is sooo cute! 50ml is quite a lot, most primers I saw had 30ml. But I wish it wasn’t so thick… I have oil skin, so do the asians but, who knows…
