Musings of the Day: Make-Up Less!?
Fest up peeps! Do you leave your house without makeup on? Foundation-less? Gasp! Not a stitch of blush on your cheeks!? No lipgloss!?

If I’m running errands or just hanging out with friends my normal makeup wear is a bit of moisturizer, concealer, and cheek stain. That’s about it. I don’t do mascara, gloss, lipstick, shadow, etc……

If I’m not feeling up to doing full on make-up I wear a quick problem-area coverage with liquid foundation. Almay ideal lipcolor ( it’s a nice moist shiny sheer color) + eyeliner (always always have my urban decay 24/7 eyeliner in zero) and a quick swipe of the telescopic mascara with the teeny ball brush from the drugstore and some matte powder to finish. Then I carry rice papers for blotting around especially in the summer- I’m in New Orleans and our humidity % and temp. are usually the same number in the summer months!! It’s like living in a steam bath. Very tough on make-up

Well it depends on my mood, if I’m in a good mood I’d put on powder, blush, eyeliner, mascara and lip stain when I go to the mall. If I’m in a blah mood I’ll have nothing but tinted lip balm. The SAs actually give better service when I have makeup on, most of the time.

Hello! I recently discovered your website and I just wanted to tell you that I LOVE it!
I rarely go out of my home without eye make up on…I love eyeliner and mascara especially. I don’t use foundation at all; every one that I’ve tried thus far clogs my pores (I’m very acne prone), so I’ve given up for now.

I’m definitely not afraid to leave my house without makeup. As a college senior it’s sometimes more important to get that extra 10 minutes of sleep! For a regular day or if I’m going to work I’ll do soft eyes and a matching lip and blush, but for days when I’m in a hurry it’s usually mascara, gloss and go.
