I.C.O.N. Haircare: I.C.O.N. Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The Muse has a thing about salon style shampoos and conditioners. After cutting her hair she’s always charmed by the shiny display of hair care. To add insult to injury I’ll have my stylist seducing me with the items she used in my hair after the cut. “You know your hair would really love so and so shampoo…” and of course the Muse feeds into the frenzy and purchases whatever it is she used because my hair is smelling and looking so amazing.

Although I’m a Lush girl at heart I’ve been known to cheat! Recently, I couldn’t help but cheat on my hair care regime with I.C.O.N Haircare. Oops forgive me Lush for I have given over to fresh smelling salon style shampoo and conditioner and loved it!

One of thee most important things (and appealing for that matter) about I.C.O.N. Shampoos and Conditioners are the great formulas. Using pure ingredients makes the products very easy on the hair with minimal build up so your hair is clarified, cleansed, and conditoned minus heavy silicons. Likey! I tested out I.C.O.N. Drench Shampoo and I.C.O.N. Feels Free Conditioner. Each has a beautiful salon style scent that leaves hair fresh and pretty smelling.

Drench is a moisturizing shampoo meant to address hair that needs extra moisture. It hydrates dry, unruly locks and works at protecting it while hydrating.

Feels So Free is a moisturizing conditioner that’s incredibly light weight so it leaves hair hydrated without weighting it done, double likey!

I admit I’m very picky and snotty with my haircare particularly because I’m such a lover of Lush but these were essentially two very nice products for treating my hair without weighting it down which always impresses as normally salon or drugstore brand haircare weights my hair down terribly and stresses it out. These are both very light weight, cleanse hair beautifully, and offer great moisture while giving me a good, solid hair day.

The Muse thinks they are well worth checking out for yourself if you’re in the market for a brand new haircare regime. Not bad at all, likes it!

What are your fav salon style shampoos and conditioners?

Ever try I.C.O.N.?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I gotta admit Im a sucker for Tigi Bed Head and Catwalk stuff. They seem to me to be like the UD or hair care or something:) But, MOST IMPORTANTLY, their products smell really yummy usually. Id like to try this since Ive been trying to get around to a clarifying shampoo and if it smooths and smells nice Im sold! I like Catwalk Headshot Heavenly Hydration Shampoo+Conditioner. I love how it feels a bit tingly/cooling. I used to use the Bed Head Dumb Blond although Im not blond because I needed moisture since I color my hair but I switched to Headshot a few yrs back since either they were out of Dumb Blond or they discontinued it. Of course I was told it was the like new improved Dumb Blond but Im happy w it to have kept w it all this Time. Sometimes Ill use that lovely Jasmine shampoo Sephora loves to give you samples of. I regret that I cant remember the brand, oops, but I think its got smoothing in the name. I just love that stuff and how it smeels but I wouldnt buy it since I would then be hooked. I will just continue w Headshot sales at Ulta! I also love Tigi Queen For A Day Thickening Spray it smells so awesome people always as what my perfume is and a few other of their sprays or serums that smell like Cotton Candy or other types of sugar citrus yum. I suck at doing hair though so I cant get into it as much as makeup. I guess that saves me a little bit of cash. yeah right, I just buy a ton of Philosophy bath gels instead!
