mark Summer Collection 2009: mark Exotics Collection

If you’re looking for cheap, who isn’t nowadays? Check out the new mark Summer Collection for 2009 entitled Exotics.

Introducing new mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up for $6 each available in five shades. These are a conditioning, high shine close with a cool spearmint flavor and a pigmented color payoff!

Kinda looks like MAC lip lacquers but way cheaper. I can get on board with these for sure. They were the first thing that caught my eye from this collection and possibly the best item available.

Also releasing are two mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush Custom Color blushes in two new shades. These are $7 each and do not come with a palette, they are part of the custom color system so you’d have to buy a palette separate to stick them in. Although pretty they hold little appeal for me.

And finally mark Eye Exotics Eye Shadow Trio which contains three shades of shadow for wearing alone or combined. Again, not so thrilling and kinda reminds me of the Avon Marimekko palette I reviewed a few months ago, which was much nicer by the very way. I could get excited about this if they had more than one shade selection available, all that blue does little to excite me.

Not much of excitement here although the blush and the lip lacquers hold my interest (particularly the lippies). If you’re looking for a few budget friendly makeup options of Summer you may want to take a peep.

It’s all available now at the mark website.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
