E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Collection

One does wonder how to get that professional look with a $3 price tag. E.L.F. Cosmetics now offers a Pro line for “that professional look” with an appealing budget price tag.

Jump ahead to learn more…!

Aspiring to be more like NARS, E.L.F.? E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Collection does have a tad bit of a NARS look and feel to it but with quite a deeper discount. The new collection has a more sophisticated less than cheap look compared to the regular line and now sports the $3 price tag that E.L.F. has reserved for certain products in it’s line. Although much of E.L.F. still remains at $1 per an item they have grown up a fair bit and now sport $3 prices on newer items they add to their catalog, the pro line being one of those lines.

One could go so far as to say that E.L.F. did a pretty good job with the simple black packaging on the new line but don’t get too excited as it does appear to be simply plastic. The look and feel mimics NARS a tad bit which I’m sure they will use to their advantage in future e-mail bursts advertising their products.

I can’t say I’m terribly excited to jump on board and try this out but I will admit to being ever so slightly curious. Particularly the brush set gathers much of my attention as my sister and quite a few readers have expressed their delight over E.L.F. Brushes. The rest of the line could prove very popular if you’re on a beauty budget at the moment or have always been. Shamefully I admit that cheap makeup holds little appeal to me most times but I can see the possibility of these becoming very popular items.

Here’s a few items that did capture my interest.

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Eye Lash Curler ($3)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Mini Makeup Collection ($15)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Brush Collection ($30)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Complexion Perfection ($3)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Bronzer (3 Shades Available: Warm, Cool, and Golden $3)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Pro Blushed and Bronzed ($3)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Matte Powder ($3)

E.L.F. Cosmetics Shimmer Palette ($3)

Overall, I can’t say if I’ll be indulging in E.L.F.’s reincarnation of NARS as I’m just window shopping at the moment but I will say that $3 bucks is a nice price if these prove worthy.

What do you think?

Loves it?

Leaves it?

    Hey Muse!

I LOVE the newest E.L.F. offerings, really!!! Got my HUGE haul last wknd, including all the Studio blushes, and let me tell ya, they are FANTASTIC!!! The shades/pigmentation are SO great, leaves me wondering, 1. How they manage to do what they do for such a rock-bottom price; and, 2. How do any of the HE lines justify charging so damn much for the same stuff, and often inferior stuff at that! lol!
Oh oh oh oh, another E.L.F. thing that I find is teeeriffic is the Mineral eyeshadow primer, it works reeeeally well, and I have super-greasy lids – eye MU usually ends up practically on my cheeks by midday, but this stuff, WOW! heehee!

    okay, I’m done
    *hugs*

      her Charmaine!

I’m trying to get into ELF at the moment 😀 LOL thanks for giving the low down on the goods particularly the primer 😀 I liked the hydro tint which I believe they diced from the line that was really good stuff…!!!!!!!!!

      big hugs back!

I have to agree with the latest writer. I just got a haul from the ELF Studio Line and I am so pleasantly surprised. Also, if you sign up for their emails, you will never even pay $3 each as they always have 50% off on the studio and mineral lines. Awesome. I got sooooo many items for less then $23. The only item I didn’t like was the wheat eyeshadow as it was chalky. I got all of the others and they are awesome. I have every MAC e/s I think available and I love these products. And yes, the mineral primer is to die for. I am usually a Too Faced Shadow Insurance Girl as UDPP totally makes my lids crusty and dry. Love ELF Studio Line:)

got 2 huge ELF hauls that arrived 4 days apart, YAY!!!!! now I have all 3 of the MU kits, and I LOVE them! the mini is my least fave, but I still love it. they were having a 50% Studio thingy, so that was my 1st, then they offered the medium and large kits as a GWP w/minimum $ amount, of course, so I decided to outright buy the medium, add a few more things I had wanted, and got the large kit as my freebie, WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! I’m a cappy hamper, haw haw!

Does the complextion perfection powder work well? I almost bought it today, but bought two blushes instead.

The only thing I don’t like about ELF is that their products are made in China.

I ordered the complextion perfection powder and I was hoping to hear some reviews on this. Oh wells. It was cheap so if it’s a goody then great and if not, in the trash it goes. 🙂

    Hi Muse 🙂

Well now that I have received two huge boxes of the elf cosmetics and brushes, I can tell you which ones I like and which ones are in the trash.
The Complextion Perfection Powder goes on a little chalky and light when all 4 colors are swirled together. I tried the yellow powder part of it and it helps tone the redness. I love all the Studio brushes I bought. They are really great! The fan brush came crushed but after washing it, it reshaped fine. All of the blushes I bought are gorgeous! I do not like the 100 eyeshadow palette. I am not into sparkle at my age so I am giving those to my daughters to use. The concealer quad was junk. It felt weird and like an oil base. I hope this others who want to buy elf products.

Almost forgot! I love the mineral foundations in sheer and shimmer. They are nice with a little concealer under them. I have mostly great skin to begin with so on most days, i can wear light to medium foundation coverage. I used the Studio Kabuki brush to pick up the product and blended well. Loved it!
