Oh Laura you’re you do so know how to make a Muse smile. A while back ago the Muse purchased the Laura Mercier Flawless Face Kit and was absolutely delighted with the results. Now the Muse is craving the brand new Mineral Flawless Face Kit!

The kit is $65 and contains:

  • Laura Mercier Foundation Mineral Primer

Hi! I’m new to mineral makeup and dying to try the LM mineral powder. I have combination skin and live in Malaysia which is hot and humid (on good days) and scorching hot and terribly sticky, ucky humid on bad days. I just got hold of LM foundation primer for oily skin and I’m liking it.

I’m dark toned and the SA told me told me that I would be better off using the LM powder MMU primer (which is white) instead of the lotion version.

What I’d like to know is, if I were to purchase the mineral powder (loose), do I need to get the LM mineral MU primer? I can’t use the “normal” LM foundation primer I have? If so, will the powder mineral powder give me a whitish cast on my face? (I have the MAC prep + prime powder which is also white and it does tend to leave me with an ashy look after putting it on, though it fades off after some time)

Would greatly appreciate your input! :)

hi shree I’m not a mineral user nor have I tried the LM mineral powder. I’m guessing that you can use any primer you want with it. You don’t really need to stock to a specific primer or at least imho you don’t need to. I don’t use LM Mineral Primer or Powder so I’m not sure but I doubt there’s a reason to stick to a specific primer if you have one you like already! will mineral powder give you a white cast? It shouldn’t give you a white cast if you pick your correct color. Hope this helps?
