MAC Holiday 2009 Magic, Mirth, and Mischief

Golly it’s August and we are already into Holiday 2009. Of course, most important of all, MAC Holiday 2009 debuts soon and Magic, Mirth, and Mischief is a foot…all those things yes but that also happens to be the name of the collection.

Jump ahead for more deets and photos!

Let’s not forget this is the full face color story and not the palettes so don’t get disappointed too quickly as I was. One thing I adore about this collection’s primary image is the fact that it is indeed very festive and holiday-like however I’ll proceed to moan about more…mineralized eye shadows? Can you say over done? But as I mentioned I won’t whine over much as the fact of the matter is that we still have the palette and gift set selection to look forward to and I’m positive those will be special. Worst than mineralized eye shadows would be the fact that many of these items are repromotes.

Here’s what we have to look forward to from MAC Holiday 2009 Magic, Mirth, and Mischief (callin’ Harry Potter!):

Overall, I admit I’m not that excited about this line up but I’ll hold off my final judgment until I see it all in person, after all, MAC has a way of catching up with us when we actually have a swatch and a play.

What do you think?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. If you’re that person feel free to reach out and leave a comment or follow me on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Bloglovin‘.
