Available in five shades these glosses are a great pick for anyone that’s conscious on cosmetic ingredients. With a formula free of chemicals, mineral oil, petroleum, artificial ingredients and parabens they should be a crowd pleaser with any green friendly makeup users. The Muse admits she’s sometimes not terribly alert of what’s in her makeup but she’s becoming more and more concerned with what goes on her face. The glosses are a tiny expensive at $26 each but if you’re very concerned with ingredients that should probably be chalked up as a tiny price to pay for a formulation such as this.

As they do not contain alot of the things you’d find in a normal gloss they do lack that certain shiny, mirror finish of many popular lip products. They have a slightly silicon feel (no silicon in them though). It’s not tacky or sticky it simply feels like a glove around your lips. It wears pretty long because of this formula however if you’re drinking or eating it will slip off. The colors are all very sheer and subtle but are easily built up for a nice bit of natural, healthy color. One or two shades of the darker shades have better pigmentation than some of the lighter shades. The finish is a slight shimmer and the overall effect is a pretty, healthy pink lip (at least with most of the shades). I actually wasn’t keen on the formula but adored how they looked on my lips. It’s a natural, healthy color that’s very flattering.

I tested out all the shades which are Freedom (Red), Innocent (Baby Pink), Truth (Sheer Fuchsia), Vibe (Peach), and Integrity (Rose). I loved Integrity and Truth the best as these are the two shades that gave my lips a pretty slip of pink. Freedom and Vibe are the most pigmented of the lot and Innocent is very sheer and subtle.

Overall, they are a great gloss if you’re concerned about ingredients. I did feel the price was a little bit much. Loved the way some of the shades looked on my lips for sure. A great pick for the go green cosmetic user.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
