I mentioned in a prior post that Cashmere Mist was having a 15 year anniversary this year which I’m sure sparked the release of this Luxe Edition.� My sister is a fond fan of the scent and was ever so delighted to try out this release…yes the Muse has been known to share a time or two.
I’m so used to the scent of the toilette that the parfum was quite a delightful surprise.� Although very similar in scent I took note that the parfum manages to come across softer and truer to it’s notes than the toilette does.
Inspired by the comforting warmth of cashmere this scent will envelope you in a soft, intimate fragrance that’s flattering for both day and night wear.�� Notes of Lily of the Valley, Suede, Bergamot, Ylang, and Jasmine create a gentle, dominate base that enhance a key note for me which is vanilla.� Although the blend has edger notes such as Patchouli, Musk, and Amber for the most part you’ll get a very comfortable, intimately blended fragrance that’s easy on the nose and very sexy.
This is my first time trying the parfum as my sister normally has the toilette hanging around.� It manages to linger alot longer on my skin than the regular toilette and I also experienced notes in a new way as the toilette manages to come across a little softer where as this came on a tad stronger and truer.
