Dear Muse,

The cheek! How dare you demand wishes when you haven’t contacted me in ages! Not even an e-mail to say hai!

But….

Since I have a reputation to uphold I’ll grant your wish.

Enclosed find Clinique SuperBalm Moisturizing Gloss for super duper glossy lips.

Your x-Fairy Godmother.

Wish granted chicas, my Fairy Godmother claims the best way to get super glossy lips is to snag some Clinique SuperBalm Moisturizing Gloss. Actually many of you claim the same and recommended I check this out.

So I did….

What did I think?

Check it after the jump!

Since starting my blog my taste in makeup has kinda changed around alot. At one time I used to head out of the house simply with gloss on but nowadays I do sport my fair shade of lipstick as well. However, I refuse to go without gloss on top of my lipstick. I simply don’t feel comfortable without a high glossy sheen to my lips so of course I absolutely positively need a gloss on top to make it look full and glossy.

It’s difficult to find a good gloss to apply on lipstick though. Like for example I hate using MAC Lipglass on top of a colored lipstick. I want something semi-sheer, thick, and glossy but not pigmented. MAC Lipglass is great on it’s own but a bit too pigmented on top of lipstick plus it doesn’t really give full, glossy lips does it?

Clinique SuperBalm Moisturizing Gloss has entered my life and does a rather fab job of beefing up my lipstick. The formula is thick yet wears comfortable. It creates a super glossy finish on my lips and manages to make them look fuller.

The product is fragrance free so those sensitive to allergies and such can rejoice in the formula. The tubes are quite large for the $14 price tag so they are a rather nice inexpensive gloss.

In my picture below I used the gloss on bare lips so you could see how very subtle the color is. They come in a range of colors but each is very sheer for a more natural look. I like that they are almost clear as they work a treat on top of lipstick or even lipglass for that matter if you want a glossier look.

If you’re a lover of glossy, full lips I do so recommend snagging yourself some Clinique SuperBalm Moisturizing Gloss. The price and formula can’t be beat.

Loves it!

nope no flavor or scent Laura. Clinique keeps the formula basic as they are known for non-allergic makeup items. But yea I know your thoughts…I WANT Raspberry and Grapefruit flavored GLOSS! :-D

While I wish these glosses just had a SLIGHT scent, they’re one of my holy grail products. They are one of the few glosses that would moisturize my lips enough while I was on Accutane. The tint of color was really pretty, and my lips were SO GLOSSY! I love the gloss’ thick texture (but not really sticky) and decent lasting power. I highly recommend these glosses. They are worth every penny, and the tube lasts a long time.

Also, FYI, Ginger has a decent amount of tint to it. :)

Oh Marilyn I totally KNOW what you mean. I love flavored/scented products but def a great one for those who are sensitive to such items :-D

Oooo ginger is next on the hit list! I loved Too Faced Mirror Mirror it’s my HG but I have to admit the price and size of Clinique wins my money!
