Cover FX Radiant FX Luminescent Powder Review and Swatches
I’m thinking I need to glisten all night long. That’s ok right? I’m sorry I can’t help myself, I do like to glisten and sparkle and shine……
I’m glinting crazy cool today as I used a bit of Cover FX Radiant FX Luminescent Powder in my moisturizer.
Jump ahead to do the shimmer with me.
Cover FX Radiant FX Luminescent Powder is an all over luminizing loose powder for face and body available in two shades. This natural mineral powder can be used just about anywhere you want to add a little touch of sparkle or highlight. Face, cheeks, forehead, even as an eyeshadow or a tiny bit in your dcollet won’t go unnoticed by straying eyes. I mix it up with my moisturizer for a little bit of a highlight on my face.
The formula is a pure gem for those who are sensitive as it’s oil, talc, fragrance, and paraben free. It’s supposed to deliver light diffusing shimmer which minimizes fine lines, redness, and discolorations. Aside from slightly dull, uneven skin tone I really don’t have redness or fine lines so I use it over blush for a slight highlight and not so much as a way of treating flaws. Although it appears quite glittery and shimmery in the jar it’s actually a very subtle bit of highlight. The shade I tried was Golden Bronze which is a slightly muddy shade with hints of golden sparkle. It basically manages to enhance any shade of coral or peach blush and deepens it to a sunkissed color.
A little goes a very long way plus you get a huge jar for the price of $32. It’s going to take sometime to get through one jar if you do indulge so you’re getting quite a good deal for your money.
Loose powder is sometimes difficult to work with but this blends easily. Simply tap a little into the top, swirl with your brush, and buff on. I find using a fan brush is the best application technique as it gets just the right amount onto cheeks. You can also easily use the shade as a shadow as well which makes it quite a nice multitasking powder.
I really want to try the shade Platinum which is a creamy shade with a golden finish. Golden Bronze is more suitable for a darker tone than my own.
Overall, it’s a rather nice little way to get your glisten on. If you’re a lover of shimmering powders I’m sure you’ll want to indulge.
