Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension Review
You know Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes was so not enough. We absolutely now need in our lives Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension Mascara. You know…bigger, better, more awesome lashes……loves it right?
For Fall, Givenchy has released their brand new improved formula in four shades for the risque mascara user who likes to bat color lashes at the world. Ok, if you’re boring you can bat your black lashes at the world (it comes in black too!).
Jump ahead for a peep at the new Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension.
Pretty much for me I’m all about the medieval torture device applicator. I wanna wield it around and make everyone terribly scared of me. Come on bring it baby I have Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension and I will hurt you with it.
You’re probably curious what the difference is between the two mascaras. From what I can see it comes down to a small difference and a large one. The small difference would be the applicator. The applicator itself is pretty much the same as Phenomen’Eyes Mascara aside from that the newer version seems to sport a rounder, fuller spiked brush (this isn’t too noticeable unless you’re really looking). Second, would be the major difference in the formula. This formula is thicker, more pigmented, and available in a blue, plum, black, and green.
You may be worried about poking your eye out and thinking you should avoid the mascara for that reason. So long as you apply slowly you’ll end up with beautiful lashes. I thought that Phenomen’Eyes was incredible my first round but I am really loving the thicker formula of Effet. It seems to create fuller, fattier lashes and the formula has incredible color pay off so it’s my new best friend for a smoky eye look as it blackens my lashes in a dramatic way.
If it’s the false lash effect you seek with plenty of drama, Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Effet Extension is your girl. Loves it. Muse Approval for purchase.

Love the false lash effect, your lashes looks so long and full!!! I’d love to have the plum one. I’ll try to gather it when I arrive at Ireland.

Oh, come on! Not more lemmings! (don’t worry, said in a good way). Man, this month has been horrible to my wallet. Good thing I just opened a mascara, or I would be all over this one. Too bad my family doesn’t like to give me makeup for the holidays. This, a new Dior lipgloss, some palettes…. Hehe.
haha Kaoru sorry
My holiday wish list is going strong….god I can hear my wallet sobbing come November!
Wow it looks great! Would you say this held the curl pretty well?
hi giselle it weights lashes down every so slightly but does a decent job of keeping curl
I’m currently using Givenchy Captiv’eyes and I wouldn’t change it at all!
It works perfectly. My short eyelashes look fuller and sexier with only a quick coat, definitely what I lusted after. Dramatic lashes are a must-have for a burlesque look à la Dita. *love*
Givenchy is one of the best brands I’ve tried in my life. Shame it’s so hard to find here in Italy, especially where I live.
hi Isabella sorry for the delayed reply
awesome! Givenchy has some great mascara
ahhhh I love Dita! Gorg! Wow incredible it’s hard to find I’d think it would be available readily in Europe!
Ah! This looks amazing on you!!!! I just haven’t broken down and spent the money on this one.. I tried the L’Oreal version and it was rather difficult for me to use the wand and make it NOT clump! This is amazing, though! Thanks for the review!!
my pleasure beauty maven
I HATED the l’oreal version! Ugh so clumpy! Thankfully Givenchy got it right
