L’Oreal True Match Foundation Finder

LOreal True Match Foundation 11

Oh my god dudes.

I’m kinda all sorts of excited today because I found the L’Oreal True Match Foundation Match on their site.  Ok, ok I didn’t really “discovery” it myself, I read about in a magazine.

You know the Muse isn’t too keen on drugstore foundation but I’ve kinda sorta had my eye on L’Oreal True Match Foundation for a while.

Anyway, here’s the deets.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation Beauty Matchmaker allows you to select your regular range of foundation and matches it up with your L’Oreal True Match shade.  Moral of the story?  It makes finding your shade easy as pie.   Right now they offer foundation shade selections for MAC, Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Covergirl (no seriously?  People use Covergirl Foundation?  You lie!), Prescriptives (could come in handy with the company going out of business), Estee Lauder, Dior, Clinique, and Neutrogena.  Seems like they have pretty much all the major brands covered.

Sadly, I can’t find my match as I’m more of a BB Cream girl and doesn’t look like L’Oreal is taking on the world of BB’s quite yet but regardless I still find the entire idea fascinating.  So fascinating in fact that I’m going to take my Bobbi Brown Cream Foundation and see what they match me up with and head in store and to see how spot on they are with the match.  It’ll be my little challenge.

So what do you think?

Cool idea?

Have you tried the L’Oreal Beauty Matchmaker?

Did it work for you?

How about L’Oreal True Match Foundation?

Yay?  Nay?

Tell the Muse!

If you’re feeling the need to play match maker head on over to L’Oreal and have a go.

aw Musey! i am so excited that they have this and you are trying it out….i swear by True Match. (CoverGirl’s TruBlend isn’t horrible either, btw. but the rest of theirs kinda are.) I always keep fully stocked with TM concealer, foundation and blush, sometimes the powder too. i have tried some high-end foundations like Lancome (owned by the same company as you know) and TM is just as good, and cheap enough that when summer comes i can buy multiple shades to blend for my perfect summer shade depending on my tan. and they have a liquid bronzer i buy at the end of summer very cheaply that works well (if a bit runny). can’t wait to see if their matchmaking worked for you! :D now the song is playing in my head- lol

    aw, shucks. :)

yup, i love the matching concealer. it’s my holy grail for now. i lurve it- can’t live without it. i seriously had a dream recently that it had vanished from my traincase and i couldn’t find it in the drugstore….so pathetic!

but then i am very fair with yellow undertones so i may be biased by how well it matches and brightens my skin (meaning the concealer).

Love it. Used the in-store match card and a BOGOF. My match worked with two shades (one warm and one neutral), so I use the True Match warm liquid foundation with the neutral cream compact as concealer (and, it is the best concealer I have though not actually a concealer :). Have been using for over a month and I’m impressed with the wear and the trueness of color throughout the day.
