This Muse needs a little hope in the Winter when her skin is dry and flaking up. When hope isn’t enough I’ll go and indulge in the new Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Hydrating Cleansing Balm.
This cleanser replenishes skin with omega 3-6-9 essential fatty acids and removes all traces of makeup quickly and easily. It’s ideal for dry skin types like myself that need some extra TLC in the moisture department.
After use it promises my skin will be smoother and supple.
I wants some please, k, thanks. Total haul alert for me as I already use When Hope Is Not Enough Night Cream so I’m yearning to add this to my skincare regime. Sounds like the perfect treat for my dry skin.
Available now from Philosophy for $25.

Here it is folks, the moment you’ve all been waiting for. News on Jill Stuart Cosmetics!
A year or so ago the rumor of Jill Stuart Cosmetics was afloat during Fashion Week and how the flagship store located in New York would begin carrying the line. This morning I read online that indeed Jill Stuart Cosmetics is available within the US at the Jill Stuart Store located in Manhattan.
I called straight away as I don’t have time to wander over there today and here are the deets.
If you live in New York you can head to 100 Greene Street and touch, pet, and haul till your little heart beats right out of your chest. If you live somewhere else in the US you can order from the store by calling them at (212) 343-2300 and paying a flat rate ground fee of around $15 to have them ship some yummie goodies your way.
I asked after a few of the prices and they are pretty reasonably priced and almost what you’d paid within Japan even a little bit less in some cases. This is the color cosmetic line only that they carry and from what the sales girl told me it’s a limited amount of items but none the less it’s still Jill Stuart right?
Here’s the break down of a few prices:
Jill Stuart Eye Palettes $48
Jill Stuart Jelly Eye Creams $24
Jill Stuart Glosses $30
I only got a few prices as I’m sure the rep was busy at her job. I’ll head over there next chance I get to snag some photos and let you know further details. Fact of the matter is that Jill Stuart Cosmetics within the US is striking news for this sunny Fall afternoon. I’m hopeful this means it’ll branch out to high end counters at Nordies, Saks, and Neimen’s soon! I imagine it all depends on how the line does in the store itself.
Don’t forget to check out my slew of Jill Stuart Reviews located here on Musings before making your purchases.
The bloody Balm gets me every time with their uber cute glam packaging and interesting little cosmetic releases that make it seem like the world will end if I don’t haul it.
Such is the case with their new highlighting powder entitled Mary-Lou Manizer. I’ve no idea what the name is about I guess it’s a cross between man and luminizer? I’m not really sure but hey whatever floats your boat the Balm, I’ll go along with anything you say if you keep pumping out these cute packages of makeup goodness.
Jump ahead for the deets.
So did you want rice bran mascara for your breakfast this morning? I can’t make this up, Korres Deep Colour Mascara is enriched with Provitamin B5 and Rice Bran…sounds like cereal to me, wonder if it comes with a prize in the box?
Now Rice Bran supposedly expands (just like rice does in water) to provide maximum lash length, volume, and fullness….and actually it works.
Take the jump to munch on a bit of rice bran and mascara.
The Muse is almost positive she’s too young to enjoy the benefits of the new Lauren Hutton Natural Face Disc. This seemed the type of thing a more mature woman could take advantage of. However, you know the Muse, as adventurous as she is she decided to take this face disc for a spin. Hey, I love face discs in general so why not right?
What’s it about?
Take the jump to learn!
