Beauty News: E.L.F. Cosmetics At Target

elf target

Beauty news of the day is E.L.F. Cosmetics will soon be available at your local Target. Interesting news dontcha think?

Starting November 1st E.L.F. Cosmetics will be available at Target on a 3 1/2 foot end cap in the cosmetics section. The items will be a feature of $1, $3, $5, and $10 E.L.F. offerings in a slick black packaging.

Most of the items available initially will be from the $1 E.L.F. Collection but Spring will feature an updated assortment from the E.L.F. Studio Collection.

I think it’s kinda cool as now you can actually see product rather than look at swatches on the Internet. I’m a big supporter of online shopping but sometimes I do like to see a product in person before laying my money down.

Are you an E.L.F. fan?

Love the idea of shopping it at your local Target?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. That’s really nice to hear! Now we can save a lot on shipping and see if we like it or not first.
I can’t wait until the Studio line comes out. Good thing there’s a Target near my school ^___^

    • the Muse

Mandy agreed..I always felt the shipping kinda took away from the cheapness of the product 😀

  • Valerie

I do like some E.L.F products and others not so much. So having in a store where I can see them before I buy them will be great. This was a good move by them in my opinion. 😀

    • the Muse

agreed Valerie! Could really boost sales for them not that they need the help! 😀

  • Kiera

Actually Muse, just to let you know I’ve seen ELF makeup and brushes on HEB beauty isle.

I don’t know if every single HEB carries them, but at least the one in Eagle Pass, TX does. As far as I understand HEB are limited to Texas (or maybe the southern states area, not quite sure about this) but you might want to check that out.

    • the Muse

oh i don’t have access to HEB? Kiera. I’m in NY. Thanks for the heads up but it’s prob just easier via Target 😀 hehe it’s local!

  • Tohnia

i’ve actually seen E.L.F mineral makeup, brushes, and kits (smokey eye, neutral eye, etc…) at the local Winner’s around me (TJ Maxx/Marshall’s in the States). I’m going to try out their mineral makeup to see if its any good. I’ve heard good things about E.L.F, but i’m like you muse, in the sense that I want to see it before I buy!

    • the Muse

Tohnia ya seeing is so much better! I love online shopping but somethings are worthy of an instore experience 😀 oh yes my sis shops TJ and she said they had some kits for smoky eye and such 😀 I’m a little snobby with makeup so I haven’t fully immersed myself in ELF yet but maybe now that it’s at Target I’ll be jumping in more!

  • CC

I’m excited to have it at Target – I’ve always been leary of buying their stuff without trying it out first!

    • the Muse

me too cc! I’ve never really indulged in ELF so much. One reason being I never seen it person and secondly b/c the shipping was kinda high if I wanted one or two items! this is an ideal way to see what is offered 😀

ELF is carried by our local grocery store, Food-for-Less, so I’ve had the chance to view it up close and personal. I’ve had quite a few hits, and a couple of misses with ELF. Got some great ELF cosmetic brushes, bronzer, and clear mascara for eyebrows — all for just $1 each. But, I also purchased a few eyeshadows, and found them to be so crumbly, that the pigments migrated down my face and made me look like I had really dark circles under my eyes.

    • the Muse

oooo johanna not good ew! I’ve only tried the TM which they actually no longer carry and was pretty impressed everything else is kinda hit or miss with me…I’m a bit of a snob with makeup 😀

  • sparklingpinkgorilla

I’ve bought some e.l.f. stuff at target but the things they have are always small items- eyeliners, lipglosses, maybe an eyeshadow. This is great though! I wish they would have done this at the launch of the studio line. I really like some of the items I’ve got from that line but ordering is a bit of a hassle and takes too long to ship for me personally. This way I’ll definately be more inclined to repurchase or try new items.

    • the Muse

      hi sparklingpink,

the studio line will be out at target soon too 😀 Shipping was ok for me but expensive so in the end I wasn’ saving much ya know?

  • Carla

I was really looking forward to buying the $1 elf brushes!
but when I came into Target all of them were gone!
it was really quick! I hope they restock at least?!
I think the brushes are the hit of elf products. (:

    • the Muse

I’m sure they will Carla 😀 No worries ELF is here to stay at target hun! 😀

Everyone agrees that the brushes are awesome 😀 Def keep checking back with your local target I imagine with the holidays around the corner they will restock!

Do you know which locations exactly? I live in NYC and the one near my house doesn’t have it :\
