Lush Holiday 2009 Collection

Lush Holiday 2009

Leave it to Lush to ruin my Fall by introducing the Lush Holiday Collection 2009 this early.

Come on..let me enjoy the falling leaves and Halloween before presenting me with an incredible array of bath and body goodies to grace my shower and bath.

As with most years Lush Holiday is huge and filled with many a joyful treat. I can barely wait to get my hands on some of it and I’m very close to placing a UK order shortly (no worries US has Christmas up as well).

Jump ahead for the details!

As with most years at Lush plenty of new items up on the block for purchase and some old favorites. New items versus old favorites has a higher ratio this year with new winning out but no worries they brought back the really important items like Snow Cake Soap and Snow Fairy Shower Gel (the Muse’s two favorites). Either way it’s a very impressive array of items. Each year Lush gets a fair bit of my money as I’m a big Lush lover plus I tend to pick up alot for friends and family. I’m looking forward to hauling hard.

Here’s what Lush Holiday 2009 is looking like this year!

Lush Santa’s Rice Rice Porridge (6.45)
Fruity nutrition for your face to revive your skin. Exclusive to UK Shops.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 9

Lush Let Them Eat Cake Lip Balm ($6.95)
Back from last year this balm is a tasty treat of oranges and lemons, currants and sultanas, vanilla, sherry and treacle.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 5

Lush Sexy Boy Massage Melt ($7.95)
He’s shaped like Gingerman but he’s scented with revitalising lime oil and comforting cocoa.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 11

Lush Candy Cane Bubble Bar ($6.25)
Back almost ever year this popular bubble bar smells just like Rock Star Soap!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 21

Lush Christmas Even Bubble Bar ($6.95)
Soothing jasmine and ylang ylang perfume creating a relaxing Christmas soak.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 22

Lush Ruby Red Slippers ($6.95)
My Christmas wouldn’t be complete at all without a Ruby Red Slippers to slip into my bath tub on Christmas Eve. I stock pile these bubble bars like nobody’s business because I hate suffering through Winter without having my fix. Spicy Carnation makes for a perfect bath each and every time. A fond favorite of the Muse’s.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 8

Lush Star Melt ($5.95)
Smells just like Snow Fairy and creates a moisturizing bath to sooth dry Winter skin.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 19

Lush Wee Harry Bubble Bar ($6.25)
Harry? Hmm one does think this would be named after Big’s (Mark) son.
He’s spicy and warm for a festive bathing experience!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 16

Lush Want To Believe Bath Bath Melt ($6.95)
Looks like a lump of coal but smells beautifully of startflower oil and gorgeous fennel for a moisturizing bath.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 17

Lush Christmas Party Bath Bomb ($5.95)
Bless Be! Christmas Party back for a brand new year. Another fond favorite of the Muse’s. A gorgeous, sparkling blend that will remind you of a fizzy mimosa!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 23

Lush Cinders Bath Bomb ($3.95)
A fizzy, crackling bomb scented like spicy soda.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 1

Lush Jingle Spells Bath Bomb ($5.95)
Back to deck your tube with an herbal blend that’s sure to please those with nose for fresh, greener scents.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 4

Lush Christmas Pud Bath Bomb (1.95)
Christmas pudding isn’t a traditional part of Holiday festivals in the US but across the pond it wouldn’t be Christmas without it. That could be why this year Christmas Pud Bath Bomb isn’t making an appearance in the US…ahhh! Sadness! But no worries he can easily be added to your cart from Lush UK and airmailed right to your tub. You’ll want him there to match up with your Snow Cake soap!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 6

Lush Mister Butterball ($3.95)
Speaking of traditions Mister Butterball stops back for another Holiday season. He’s the same old great formula of Butterball but shaped like a chilly little snowman.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 7

Lush Satsumo Santa Bath Bomb ($5.95)
A little fizzy orange for your warm bath? Shaped like a Santa this burst of orange scent will wake you up!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 10

Lush So White Bath Bomb ($3.95)
Sparkling apple scented snow for my bath? Ok, I’m in.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 15

Lush Fairy Tail Sugar Scrub ($4.95)
This is literally a fairy “tail” come true. Sweet pink sugar and strawberries help scrub away dry skin.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 2

Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel ($8.95-$19.95)
I’d have to call off Christmas if Lush failed to bring my my favorite shower gel! This sweet, fruity blend is all girl! Gorgeous and a must have!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 12

Lush Snow Showers Jelly ($6.95)
Sparkling mimosa is what this one reminds the Muse of. It’ll wriggle (literally) into your heart and shower!

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 13

Lush Strawberry Santa Shower Gel ($5.95)
Strawberry Santa makes his second starring appearance this year with Lush. I didn’t try him last year but am determined to get me some this year (he sold out quickly).

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 18

Lush Angel’s Delight Soap ($5.95)
Fruity-goodness is what the Muse deemed it..but some Lush fans have been known to say it smells of cat pee…..*wince*

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 20

Lush Father Frost Soap ($6.95)
Lush is the only one who can get me excited about a fragrant floral bouquet soap.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 3

Lush Snowcake Soap ($6.95)
Snowcake soap is meant to be stock piled. I buy an entire wheel every year so it lasts me throughout the year….could. not. live. without. snowcake. ’nuff said.

Lush Holiday Collectin 2009 14

As you can see it’s a huge lot of items to get happy about. I’ll do my normal hauling from the UK and of course hope for a good offer on boxing day to haul some more. Any excuse to buy ridiculous amounts of Lush like it’s about to go out of style.

Lush Holiday Collection 2009 equals a big loves it!

Want!

Anyone love when Lush updates for Holiday?

Anyone a new Lush lover?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Oh, I wish my landlords would fix my bathtub (broken for over a year now…)! I miss Lush bath products 🙁

PS – My Superdrug finally got MEMEME’s poppy tint back in stock, are you after some?

    • the Muse

hi kirsty! awwwww 🙁 that stinks hun!

yayayayay! no I’m good but thanks. Rows from Cosmetic Candy hauled it for me but thank you very very much!

  • MC

Mmmmm snowcake and snow fairy. I <3 Lush Christmas. XD

Father Frost Soap and So White top my list. The Wee Harry Bubble Bar reminds me of a Shy Guy from Super Mario Brothers 2 (showing my gamer girl here), so I may haul these for my gamer friends lol.

    • the Muse

and you are in New York this year MC 😀 we have two lush shops w00t 😀

LOL oh yes that’s true he does. 😀 Snowcake and Snow Fairy always top my list!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to smell!

  • Jaci

I placed an order for most of this the day it launched on the site (last Wednesday). I can NOT wait for it to get here. They also had some Butterball body wash for sale that was very limited edition!

It does seem super early for them to launch it but when stuff is this great and this plentiful, the earlier the better is what I say!

    • the Muse

hi jaci! yay awesome. I was going to but I ended up waiting. I still have two Butterball Body Washes from the last party…I didn’t like it so much so I ended up being ok with not ordering right away 😀

LOL agreed plus heaps of it will be gone before X-Mas even arrives as Lush sells it terribly quick!!!!!!!!!

  • Kiera

    Hi there Muse!

I just recently discovered Lush thanks to your blog. I’m not from the States but I go shopping there about every 4-5 months, so a Lush has just opened in the Macy’s I visit. From all this products, which 2-3 would you say are the BEST to try out as a first-Lush-experience?

    Thanks a bunch!

    • the Muse

fantastic kiera! Love love converting folks to Lush 😀 Where are you located?

First Christmas Lush Experience you’ll need:
Snowcake (LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of Snowcake)
      Snowfairy
Ruby Red Slippers (as many as you can stuff in your bag hehe)
      Christmas Party

These are the best of the lot 😀 Have fun and stop back tell me what you think!

      • Kiera

        Thanks Muse!

I’m from México, really near from the US border so every once in a while we shopping to San Antonio, TX. I buy most of my makeup there, since most brands that are sold in México (think Bobby Brown, Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC, that sort of thing) are a tad more expensive (say you buy something for $5 there, here you get it for $8 or something along those lines) since they are “imported”.

        • the Muse

That’s not too too bad a price jump Kiera! I’m def glad you are closer to the border though 🙂 helps to jump over and snag some stuff when needed heeh!

          My pleasure hun!

  • jackieg02

Hey Muse! I was trying to stay away from Lush, but I may just need to get some of this stuff. I have been loving the bubble bars lately, so I will def get a few of these. I will definetly get some Snow Fairy since you speak so highly of it.

Do you have any idea when or if this will come out in stores?

    • the Muse

yay jackie! Pick up loads of Ruby Red Slippers bestest bubble bar ever 😀

I imagine towards the end of October. If you’re lucky even sooner 😀

    • the Muse

me too emma 😀 I buy an entire block every year 😀 can’t live without!

  • Brandi

I am wanting big time the Lush Bath Bomb tin. All over the Snow Fairy, and the Cinder, So White, Candy Cane Bubble Bar and Gnome Name. It smells fantastic! But alas, unless I sell a few kidneys, and donate some blood, I might have to just get one or two things 🙂

    • the Muse

oh me too Brandi! All those are on my list including the bath bomb tin which looks adrable :0

Aww I totally understand I try to be good every year but end up selling organs myself LOL!

  • April

You always feature such interesting products on your blog. I think that is one of the reasons it is my favorite.

I went to the UK site to order some of their exclusives but “ouch” the shipping is kind of high. Is there some way to get around that?

    • the Muse

      hi April!

well thanks hun you’re lovely for saying so *hugs* Sure, sure. I’m a little bit of a snob when it comes to Lush so I do order from the UK but you can order from most any place in the world. If you’re in the US simply visit the US site, or Japan visit that site, etc….

      Here’s a portal for you: http://www.lush.com

also check the store page and see if you might have a store in your area to avoid shipping prices completely 😀 Macy’s now has little Lush locations as well 🙂

      Hope this helps you!

    • Cat

You have to keep your package under 2kg and in most cases that means making 2-3 orders!

      • the Muse

wow that’s new cat. Normally my orders went above 2k and they shipped for around $79 usd or so. Sorry to hear it. Order from the Lush US site! 🙂

  • Bonnie

Hi Muse! I definitely was not a Lush fan before I started reading your blog, but you have shown me the error of my ways! 🙂 Will have to check out the holiday products!

    • the Muse

I’m so happy I converted you Bonnie! I simply ADORE Lush 😀 hehe! Do tel me what you think when you tried 😀

  • Meghan

    • the Muse

  • Hailee
