Stila 24K Luxe Lip Gloss Collection Review and Swatches
The Stila Summer Collection 2009 did not get as much publicity as it should have due to problems that cropped up for Stila this season. As you know Stila did have some downtime due to economy reasons and the likes but was pulled back from the edge thankfully. During this time I did feel like the Indian Summer Collection didn’t get the credit it richly deserved as it’s one of my favorite releases to date.
This is why I’m ever so pleased that Stila bundled up some of Summer and slapped it into a gift set for Holiday 2009.
Jump ahead for it.
I had the pleasure of trying out the Stila 24K Luxe Lip Gloss prior to Summer start and fell madly in love with the gloss. Although it’s primarily packaged for Summer it still manages to be a very workable gloss for the Holidays as it contains a heavy dose of golden sparkle.
If you’re shopping around gloss sets as the moment and you aren’t minding the “summery” feel of the packaging I highly suggest snagging this set which contains four full size 24K Luxe Glosses for $30. I love Lip Glaze in general but I actually adore the finish and formula of the Luxe Glosses even more. These are heavily pigmented with a dose of golden sparkle for a beautiful, glossy pout. I know some of you hate the fact that MAC Dazzleglass leave behind glitter after color and gloss fades and I fear that the Luxe Glosses suffer the same fate but I’m don’t mind much as I simply reapply and go about my merry way.
You get four shades which are Radiant Sunset (reddish coral), Precious Coral (peachy coral), Golden Charm (shimmering gold), and Vintage Merlot (berry wine). Each shade is quite festive for Holiday wearin’ and tearin’. I love how pigmented each one is and how buildable color is for a very vibrant lip look.
If you’re currently shopping gloss kits and debating on which to purchase I highly suggest snagging these.
Love ’em!
