Stila Makeup Player: Combining Tech and Makeup
Stila’s taking it tech for the holidays by launching the brand new Stila Makeup Player. Combing elements of makeup and technology this sure does appeal to my geeky good nature.
Jump for it!
This player officially launches November 1st but Stila is already taking pre-orders for it at www.stilabeautytube.com
So what is it?
Basically it’s a train case with a built in media player dock station plus it’s filled with awesome makeup. Stila’s Beauty Beauty Tube Channel allows you to download free makeup lessons onto your device of choice by docking your player into the case. The lessons will be available via their site and iTunes. Kinda nifty right? But if you’re not wanting to view lessons as you apply makeup you can always just dock and play your tunes via the case as it has built in speakers.
The train case is $69.90 and comes with four products. Now this is where things get exciting for the Muse. It comes in four shade selections fair, light, medium, and dark and includes Stila Convertible Color, Lip Glaze, and an Eyeshadow Trio and Brush to suit your tone.
Now the exciting part!
It also includes a brand new Stila One Step Foundation Makeup. From the sounds of it this could be one of the first attempts stateside to implement some sort of BB Cream as the foundation works as a primer, foundation, concealer, and powder…basically an all in one wonder for your face. Not quite BB but probably the closest thing you’ll get to within the US. Interesting right?
Although the player looks cute and the other goodies what really has me curious and lemming would be that brand new foundation. Considering the entire unit with makeup is priced at $69.90 I’d say it’s quite affordable and really like getting the case for free taking into account the makeup you get.
Now if you’re wanting it (and believe me I do) you can fill out for Stila’s mailing list and get a 20% Off Coupon which breaks down the cost even further.
What do you think of the Stila Makeup Player?
Does the foundation excited you?
Does the idea of watching tutorials from Stila sound interesting?
