The Muse Thinks Pink: Limited Edition Clarisonic Plus Sonic Skin Cleansing System

iStock_000010431255XSmall

When I first purchased my Clarisonic it was the pink version available for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Pink has now become a standard color of the Clarisonic due to it’s overwhelming popularity…seriously what girl doesn’t adore pink? It was only a matter of time that they adapted this shade and kept it on as a normal color rather than an LE.

Clarisonic

This year, the new limited edition Clarisonic Plus is a custom design developed to support the Susan G. Komen Foundation. The design is truly gorgeous and unique and not all pink in theme. Made up of a swirly floral design in a richer deep pink this new brush is available for a limited time for $250. A whopping 50% of the profits from the sales of the brush will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. That’s incredibly generous of Clarisonic!

The kit includes:

  • LE Clarisonic Plus Brush
  • LE Universal Charge Cradle
  • 1 Sensitive Brush Head
  • 1 Body Brush Head
  • 1 oz trail sizes of Refreshing Gel Cleanser, Gentle Hydro Cleanser, and Nourishing Care Cleanser
  • 2 oz Trial Size Refining Skin Polish

If purchased through Clarisonic a free gift and shipping is included.

As you know the Muse is currently holding a few contests for Breast Cancer Awareness this month and also collecting small (or large) donations from readers. Every little bit helps in bringing awareness to this disease. I hope you’ll take time to read some past “pink” posts and join in some of the giveaways being held here. $200 of my own personal funds will be donated to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation at the end of the month.

Visit www.clarisonic.com for further information on the LE Clarisonic Brush. If you’re thinking of indulging in the brush why not purchase this one and support a worthy cause.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Dearest Muse can you help me out a bit? I’ve read your past reviews and I’ve read the site and some other reviews. I’m still confused about the benefits of a clarisonic for dry aging skin. Do you think it would work with lush break away cleasers? I use a small round face brush from Sally beauty with both Aqua Marina and AOBS. What about cold cream make up removers in creams or gels like Fresh Soy or St Ives Olive or maybe even Ultra bland? As for the Lush ones I couldn’t live with out either cleanser and haven’t for nearly a year. My pre-maturely aged skin really loves them. If a techie brush would make it better.. I would shell out the moolah.

      hi melissa.
I really can’t say for dry aging skin as my skin hasn’t reached a point of fine lines on my face only under my eyes. I do however have dry skin so that helps at least. Did you read my clarisonic review by chance? I personally did not like the brush and felt like it didn’t do anything for me but I think I expected miracles as it’s very hyped up. No you can’t use it with lush break away cleansers. It’s not really meant for removing makeup it’s actually a follow up treatment to be used after your full face of makeup is removed in my humble opinion. If you wear alot of makeup and want to use it for makeup removal I personally think that’s not a good idea. From my own personal experience and from user experiences it’s good for following up after your face is completely clean or using in the shower It’s best to use the brush with some sort of gel or moisturizing cleaner…one good example would be Philosophy Purity…it works very well with that.

I hope this helps! 🙂 from what I do understand it refines skin if you have fine lines on your face…but…I can’t account for that as I really noticed no difference after using it a while and just ended up returning mine!

      Hope this helps!

    Hi,

I live in the UK and recently bought this LE Clarisonic Plus from a Selfridges Store (an official stockist). Please could you tell me what packaging this came in?

The reason I ask is because mine came in the Clarisonic Plus White box it just had a slip over top cover showing & saying Limited Edition. But my main issue is that the LE cradle you & others show is not included in mine; instead I have the standard white cradle! I just feel totally cheated!

    Any advice would be great…
