Benefit Glitz, Glam, & Gloss Review
Hey Chicas!
Anyone doing X-Mas shopping yet? I kinda sorta am. I started way earlier as there are way too many incredible deals going on not too you know? I already got most of my friend shopping done now I can concentrate on my fam. And most important I’ve gotten my “me” gifts. Ha, selfish Muse, very, selfish.
Speaking of gifting yourself I got another lip gloss set you might want to lay your hands on. The new Benefit Glitz, Glam, & Gloss Set combines six glosses into three with a cool dual ended design.
Jump for it.
If you’ve been wanting to try out the new Benefit Lip Gloss selection here’s your chance to try six shades for $26 bucks. You know the Muse she can’t resist math….here’s the deal.
One full size gloss is $18 bucks from Benefit at 0.17oz in size and this gift set is $26 with six shades of gloss in a 0.1oz size. So technically that gives you 0.6 oz of gloss for $8 more than the original price of a single gloss. I personally don’t mind paying extra for a little variety plus the cute little slide draw packaging kinda draws me in however I did want to break it down for you guys as I know you love the math as much as me right?
I’m a big fan of Benefit Her Glossiness so it’s total sadness that it’s gone for good however these new glosses aren’t as fab in my humblest as they have a bit of a drier texture but the pigmentation is way better. Each has a shimmery finish and in some cases a slightly gritty texture but aside from that it’s all coolness in the realms of the festive shades you’ll get.
The set includes:
- Fresh Squeezed (Pink Grapefruit)
- I’m With the Band (Pink Shimmer)
- Zone Out (Golden Beige)
- Almost Famous (Brown with Golden Shimmer)
- Kiss You (Fuchsia)
- Friends in High Places (Sparkling Raspberry)
Pictured from left to right Almost Famous, Zone Out, Kiss You, Friends in High Places, Fresh Squeezed, and I’m With The Band.
Considering the gloss catalog contains eight shades this is basically like getting a chance to try the entire range of shades (you’ll be missing out on two colors).
Overall, I likey. It’s not really a love for me but I do think the cute packaging, very pretty shade selection, and beautiful presentation make them tempting to pick up as a gift or for yourself.
