Oh baby how I’m loving the new Bobbi Brown Chrome Eye Shadow! It’s like dressing my eyes up in liquid metal. So gorg! Available now in three gorgeous shades after this review I guarantee you’ll want to haul.

Check ‘em after the jump!

Bobbi has metallics and sparkles but now she has chrome baby! These are really super nice and quite different from anything Bobbi Brown currently offers. Now you may think, “oh well chrome is probably the same as the metallics already offered…” I thought the same thing, big differences, promise.

Here’s the deal, intensity wise, these are probably the most pigmented of Bobbi’s shadows that I’ve tried to date. They are mega pigmented and have this interesting liquid metal look about them. The shadows are buttery smooth and blend like a dream. As you apply the shadow almost glides on as if it’s wet or a cream…like you’re painting the shadow on your lid.

These couldn’t come out at a better time as the shades are all super festive. Shade wise I’m a little disappointed as they kept it to a three shade selection, I’d so love if they did a few more shades like maybe a purple or a pink…that would be killer. The shades they did release are all festive for Holiday parties and evenings out particularly New Year’s Eve.

The shades are Silver, Gold, and Pewter. Gold is my favorite of the bunch as it makes for a great warmer look. Silver would be stunning paired up with black for a smoky look.

Overall, I think all three are worthy of a haul if you like intense, dramatic shadows. These bring it for sure and are particularly beautiful for the holidays!

Love!

Anyone haul?

Do share!

Ahhhh! I should have red this post before inviting the BF to do some holiday shopping with me after work. I can’t even think about popping by the BB counter with the Makeup Grinch in tow.

I do have a gay best friend. But guess where he was this weekend? At the Chargers game with my boyfriend! My friend is making it up to me by hosting the season finale of ANTM, though. :)

LOL well that sucks Chelsea, the irony of it all! LOL I don’t think Jai would be caught dead at a game of any kind, he’s very much a fem :-D haha thank gawd!

he’s forgiven for America’s Top Model though :-D haha I wish I could say the same but I’m hosting the December 18th Doctor Who premiere of Water of Mars, my geek comes before my fashion conscious!

Hi Muse!

I bought the pewter about 2 weeks ago and I have worn it almost every day since (even though I have loads of other shadows) – I *love* it! I am a big fan of taupes, although I am not sure if pewter counts as a taupe or not? It shows up slightly greenish on my pale skin. Either way, it’s great and I agree: these are all perfect for the holidays (although I’d also like more colors)!

oh woow :) i love them!!!! thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and looks with us! ah, i wish i could haul! gotta wait a bit, for my next trip to duty free heaven :) i hope it’s still available then… :(
my favourite is pewter but only cos it’s a bit undefinable as a colour, you know neither bronze, gold nor silver ;) but i think gold would look the most flattering on me, as well. it looks fab on you!!! i agree, the silver could complement a festive smoky eye :)
wish it was a palette palette, though… palettes are my weakness hehehe
