Etsy Musings: Beautiful Twists Vegan Lip Conditioner

Beautiful Twists Vegan Lip Conditioner 1

All this gushing about Ella Dean in my latest Muse’s Gift Guide has me wanting to review her newest offering Vampire Dentist’s Toothpaste for Your Lips aka Vegan Lip Conditioner. Now most times Ella’s popular Lip Conditioners come in a balm much like a chapstick but she now has this new style which is sort of a liquid glossy lip conditioner, loves it! As much as I love the balms I must say this is even better yet.

Check my review after the jump!

What Ella says about it:

Vampire Dentist’s Toothpaste for Your Lips Vegan Lip Conditioner is in a squeezable handy tube, just like toothpaste.

Dennis Tennis DDS the vampire dentist lives in groovy Spookieville. He’s a very talented dentist, who works well with fangs of all types, werewolf teeth, monster teeth, human teeth etc. Beware of any procedures that you need to be asleep for because you may end up with nibbles on your neck (it’s worth it though because your teeth will look amazing). In Dennis’s free time he loves watching American Idol, singing in the shower & flying in the midnight sky.

Vampire Dentist’s “Unique” Toothpaste (it’s actually very refreshing…minty green tea, mixed with cranberries & a touch of cream) or Sour Grapes and Mint Leaves.

These are $4.25 each and can be purchased with Ella new’s Ice Cream Soap for $11.25 or sold separately for the $4.25 price.

They are pretty much vegan at it’s best and very green friendly with ingredients that include candelilla wax, sweet almond oil, olive oil, aloe vera oil, olive butter, safflower oil, vitamin e, alkanet root powder, gingergrass essential oils, flavor oils & weirdness. Personally the weirdness adds a touch of wonderful to the balm hehe…I loved that part.

In all seriousness if you’re the type of girl that’s constantly reaching into her purse or desk draw to apply balm these are for you. They are very moisturizing and feel like water on the lips. With a touch of sweet mint they do somehow remind me of the dentist, by the way the irony of a vampire dentist is so not lost on this Muse. Ella also had a Sour Grape and Mint flavor which doesn’t appear up anymore but keep checking back as her stock rotates. This was as equally lovely as it had a slightly tart, fruity blend of grape and a nice layer of mint to even it out. Honestly, some of her creations are utterly odd sounding and possibly have a yuck favor but they end up awesome such as her peanut butter and pickle lip conditioner, hello gross, but I’m a convert now, can’t live without!

Overall, if you’re not keen on balms but like gloss better these should appeal. They simply glide onto lips and make them feel oh so delicious! I’m a firm lover of her Lip Conditioner Sticks anyway so this is just an extra awesome in my stash of balms.

Grab ’em now at her Spookieville Ety Shop!

Total Muse Approval for purchase.

Loves ’em!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse.
