Givenchy Holiday Collection 2009: Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner Elegant Pearl and Tender Pearl Swatches and Review

Ok, so listen…

I haven’t yet mastered liquid liner but I got the new shades of Givenchy Parad’Eyes Fluid Eye Liner in Elegant Pearl and Tender Pearl and I’m in LOVE.

Jump ahead for it!

Oh my gosh these are so pretty. Whoever said that gray and pink go well together should be deemed a genius. Elegant Pearl is a soft silvery gray where as Tender Pearl is a sweet, innocent pink. Although I’m not a master at lining with liquid I decided to smudge a bit of the pink on my lid today and lined my lower lash line with the gray and the effect was stunning.

Last night, I went with a pure pink shimmering shadow and ended up lining my lower and upper lash line with Tender Pearl and it just brought the look so beautifully together.

These are so incredibly versatile and I’m having such a blast mixing and matching them with eye looks. Honestly, I rarely get excited about liquid liners but the shades truly impress. They hold a certain innocence and sweetness that really appealed to me. One of my best shades, that wears well on my cheeks and lids, would be pink so I’m thrilled I got these to test out because I probably wouldn’t have picked up either for myself simply because of the medium they are in.

Overall, Givenchy’s Holiday Collection holds a special place in my heart for bringing together some wonderfully soft, chilly shades of coolness to the Winter and Holiday season.

Loving all over these!

    Muse,
    Great minds think alike. 🙂
I picked up the lipgloss in Elegant Pearl (silver) yesterday. My first Givenchy purchase. It is amazing. Looks elegant over pinks and reds. Now I am going back for both of the liners. Though a bit pricey for my budget I am so glad I go this.

awesome April! I got the gloss too and it’s lovely. I’m taking your idea and trying it over pinks and reds 😀 Givenchy has some incredible offerings 🙂 Happy hauling!

I got this in the pinky Tender Pearl and I love it! I got compliments too! =) It’s soo pretty! I’ve been looking for a pink eyeliner for quite sometime and notice not many company makes them. Kinda strange. So i was really excited that I found this Givenchy one! I’m not really a master in liquid eyelining too, but with the pink, I can’t go wrong! Even if i made a mistake (which I do all the time) it just looks like i’m wearing eyeshadow or a really thick eye liner. I can def. pull off this pink. But with black…i’m still practicing…trying to look less and less like a panda.

      hi lh!

That’s great 🙂 I’m the same, the pink somehow makes it easier to line my eyes and if I do mess up it’s not nearly as harsh as it would be with a black liner. Same here, believe me I know the feeling well! Btw a little smudged on your eyes also works a treat as a sorta shadow or even a base 😀
