Hard Candy Plexi Gloss Review and Swatches
I promise I’m almost done with the Hard Candy bits I ordered. Are you terribly tired of all the Hard Card reviews? I so sorry. Don’t be mad k? I went a little overboard when I hauled so I have a crazy amount of it to get through but it’s a good resource eh?
Today I’m all about smearing gobs of Hard Candy Plexi Lip Gloss all over my lips!
Check it after the jump!
$5 bucks makes it a score in my humblest as it’s a decent enough gloss for the price. Anyone remember if Hard Candy carried these before? They look odd familiar but it’s early right now and my brain refuses to corporate so I can’t recall if they might be something from the original line.
It’s kinda of a small size for the price but honestly you probably won’t get cheaper for the quality. Quality is there and it has a high glossy sheen plus wears very comfortably on the lips. It’s not too tacky or sticky but manages to last quite long and offers a mirror-like finish. I got the shade I Want Candy which is a milky pink. The color itself isn’t pigmented but quite sheer and in most cases virtually clear but I don’t mind as it’s ideal for topping on my favorite stain or lipstick.
I like the applicator on this as it’s not a sponge but a simple squeeze tube. Although small it still fits the contour of my lips nicely and applies the gloss evenly and flawlessly. Packaging is very simple compared to other pieces in the line but again I don’t really mind.
I’m trying to debate with myself if the $5 price tag deems it a good pick simply because the gloss is tiny. You probably won’t find cheaper or nicer in my humblest though plus they have quite a nice selection of shades that are a tad more pigmented than this pink.
Overall, I’d say it was a winner and worthy of a pick up if you’re on the hunt for an inexpensive gloss. It has a nice shine, a good glossy finish, and the formula is thick enough to plump your pout a tiny bit. Likey alot, cute one Hard Candy, keep ’em coming!
Anyone try?
