Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil Review and Swatches

I’m making my way back to Hard Candy, haha, are you tired of all the reviews yet? I swear I’ve hit up pretty much all they offer almost.

Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil 1

Today’s review is all about the Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil.

Check it after the jump!

What is it?

Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil is a glossy pencil for lining, defining, and filling lips in with color. I don’t line my lips so it’s multitasking abilities are lost on me however I do like the glossy feel and good color pay off from the pencil.

It’s $6 bucks which is a good deal for what you get. The color I choose was Diva which is a shimmery copper and quite pretty. The formula isn’t crazy wet or glossy but it does glide on nicely and leaves behind a nice sheen of color.

Hard Candy Visibly Wet Lip Pencil 3

Overall, I do think there are better options available in the Hard Candy line to settle on prior to testing this one out. It’s nice if you’re a fan of multitasking pencils which not only line lips but also fill. I like to toss it in my purse for quickie touch ups on the go. Wasn’t terribly impressed with the product but the quality is there and the inexpensive price tag appeals.

Likes, not loves.

Anyone try?

Loves it?

Leaves it?

    Hi Muse,

Looks like the Stila lip glaze pencil in Gingerbread…same glossy consistency?

I bought your glossy lip pencil and can not use it after only two times,it has warn down and I can not get a point on it I even bought a pencil sharpener with a large hole big enough for it to fit and still can not sharpen it, I paid $ 6.00 dollars for a product I can no longer use.
This is the first time I have bought a hard candy product and am probably not likely to buy again.

hi fran a little confused. You brought “your” glossy pencil? I don’t own Hard Candy, this isn’t Hard Candy’s site……I’m sorry to hear you aren’t satisfied with your purchase but it’s probably something you might want to share directly with hard candy. The site you are commenting on is musingsofamuse.com not hardcandy.come

      Hope this helps!

pick up a sharpener from the cosmetic aisle Lauren and you can sharpen 🙂

I havnt been able to find ANY sharpener at any store to fit the Visibly Wet lip pencil! Hard Candy should sell one to fir their own products but every store Ive been into for the last 3 weeks has none! Waste of a good lip pencil!!

I cant find a sharpener that will work either. I have a Revlon sharpener with a large hole but the pencil is too big. Anyone found one that works???

          • Cat

I’ve been using the Avon 3-in-1 Sharpener for all my pencils, from eyeliners to lip pencils such as this one. I hope that helps!

I can’t seem to find the full ingredient list for this product and I love glossy lipsticks! If you could I would be so grateful! Thanks for the review!

hi cat one thing I don’t do here is full ingredient lists, I’m so sorry 🙁 I already have alot going on and adding in ingredients is an extra step that I really don’t feel the need to take on. Pictures, editing, uploading, answering comments/emails, etc…it all takes alot of time and adding on typing out a full ingredient list…well it’s just a little too much for me 😀 Hope you understand!
