“Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glistening
A beautiful sight, We’re happy tonight. Walking in a winter wonderland.
Gone away is the bluebird, Here to stay is a new bird He sings a love song, As we go along, Walking in a winter wonderland. In the meadow we can build a snowman, Then pretend that he is Parson Brown…….”

Dudes…who the hell is Parson Brown anyway? I had to go Google really quickly to find out! Turns out Parson Brown is another way of saying “minster”….huh? What? And here I was thinking he was some actor from the 50’s….goes to show you how much this Muse knows.

Oh well anyways….

I’m so walking in a Winter Wonderland today with a frosty treat on my eyes that was included with the new Korres Natural Wonders Color Collection. I’m all shimmery white and I even have on my pure white Jack Skellington hoodie…only problem is I feel like living in a plastic bubble because I’m going to cry if I get a speck of dirt on it.

This year Korres has all these killer kits they put together for making Holiday gift giving easy peasy, 1, 2, threesy!

Take the jump to check out my shimmery Winter Wonderland look using the Korres Natural Wonders Color Collection.

This kit is a basic “Best of Korres” hit list. It includes cult favorites from Korres and basically everything you need to create a simple, everyday look. Nothing dramatic or crazy just a fresh, natural look! Loves it!

The kit includes:

  • Korres Provitamin B5 and Rice Bran Mascara
  • Korres Cherry Lipgloss in Light Purple 23
  • Korres Guava Lipstick in Natural Pink 13
  • Korres Evening Primrose Eyeshadow in White 10
  • Korres Eyeliner in Black
  • Korres Full Size Brown Makeup Bag

The products are all full size and the complete kit will set you back $45. Purchased separately it would be $88 so it’s a considerable savings.

The basic look is cool and sort of wintery as the shadow is a shimmery white shade. For my look below I simply did a color wash with the shadow, lined my lower waterline with the black eye liner, used a few coats of the mascara, and finished up with a little lipstain and the gloss.

All the products are rather fun additions to your wardrobe if you are new to Korres as I find all their color cosmetics are very good quality. I’m partial to the complete look as it’s cool and crisp looking, perfect for the colder weather. The one thing I wasn’t too keen on was the shade of the lipstick as it’s a nude pink and not too flattering on me. Aside from that everything else is ace.

Here’s the completed look! Btw I’m sporting the Stila Foundation here, lovely right? Disregard my really poorly groomed brows….not good…note to self, pluck!

Likey! Nice little kit for the colder weather ahead!

Love your FoTD. :) I love Korres products and am thinking of getting this kit for my sister in law for Christmas so she can try it out.

A. I can’t believe you even knew the words to that song
B. I’m jealous you can wear a coat; it’s in the 70’s here in Texas
C. I put this in my cart, took it out, put it back in, took it out, put it in, and finally took it out again. I bought the pink lipstick set (I think proceeds go to breast cancer research) and the sugar plum make-up set. Perhaps I should revisit.

I don’t think I know the real lyrics to this song. I always get the “Walkin’ ‘Round in Women’s Underwear” version they played in the early 90’s in my head.

the Muse November 16, 2009 at 12:23 pm

LOL kristina I remember that version!
