Smith’s Rosebud Salve In A Tube

Now the key to life, the universe, and everything has always come in a tin of Rosebud Salve for this Muse. It’s her universal savior for chapped lips, frizzy hair, cuts, nicks, rough elbows, knees, and legs, etc…etc….you see? It’s a cure all.

Problem is some of us weren’t loving the vintage style tin that forced us to dip around inside. Breeding ground for germs isn’t it?

No worries.

Solution.

Smith’s Rosebud Salve in a tube! Bless be! Our prayers have been answered for an easier way to apply our beloved salve.

rosebud salve

You’ll get a better bang for your buck if you buy the tin but if you’re as anal about germs as I am you’ll absolutely adore having it in a tube form!

Available now from Beauty Habit for $6.

Loves it!

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. Seriously… I was contemplating throwing out my old tin yesterday because I’ve had it for like six months. I know they can last longer than that, but you’re touching it with your fingers and stuff…

        • the Muse

LOL Mollie I know how you feel! I tend to want to toss it after a single use, I start getting all paranoid and stuff!

  • dina

WOW! Rosebud salve is one of my all time favorite products… and putting it in a tube just made it even better. I hope the formula is the exact same stuff.

Oh dear, I got the email on this but I didn’t think about it from a germy perspective. Tubes are more santitary. Now I must buy from beautyhabit. What else shall I try maybe a Paul & Joe highlighter? 🙂

    • the Muse

ugh melissa I hate beautyhabit b/c I WANT everything from there 😀

good luck keeping your order small!

I always knew this was going to happen! I don’t mind the tin… I’m usually really anal about hygiene too & dipping fingers in pots… I always put my tin in the toaster to melt the salve so it looks new again. Also, I figure this way that while melting the salve, it burns all the bacteria & germs! It keeps me sane 🙂

  • Mandy

I like the tin version. But I can’t use it out of the house. I hope Sephora will the tube version soon.

  • Bonnie

Love the Rosebud Salve! It’s a must-have. I do admit to loving the old-school tin, though (although no doubt the new version is more sanitary :).

    • the Muse

hey bonnie totally love the old school tin too! So victorian 😀 but def love the sanitary nature of the tube haha!
