All my lemmings to experience the joys of that unisex eau de aweome scent from Soap & Glory are now available via the new Soap & Glory Eau de Soap & Glory Perfume Spray, wow that’s a mouth full!

Take the jump to see what I thought!

The bad news is I had my poor friend Rows running around Boots UK looking for this and sending it over from England via airmail. It’s kinda bad news because soon after it was available at Target, doh! But that’s actually good news for you as indeed it’s now available on Target’s website, not in stores mind you but at the very least online (but shipping in 2 to 4 weeks).

More good news….I paid 15 which is actually a few bucks cheaper than the $28 price tag here in the US plus she was getting me an absurd amount of other items so I’m not really counting in the cost of airmail.

Anyway…..

Fact of the matter is it is here and available within the US and I imagine it’ll hit your local Target soon if you aren’t up for purchasing online.

Now the good stuff…..

As you may have known from reading my past review of Soap & Glory Mist You Madly I’m not too keen on how they rearranged the fragrance. I like the original Soap & Glory scent which is a sparkling, unisex style fragrance with hints of mandarin, bergamot, and generally fruitiness and goodness going on. Mist You Madly is slightly off for me which is why I was skeptical I’d like Eau de Soap & Glory.

Boy…I was so in for it on first sniff. It’s AWFUL! It has a huge stink of patchouli and has a bit of a stinky hippie vibe going on. I tentatively sprayed some on my neck and proceeded to get all crazy happy. It’s very interesting with a good dry down and a great throw. It is much of what Mist You Madly smells of but it also manages to remind me of the original blend of S&G. It’s floral but has a dominate base of oriental floral with a tease of bergamot, musk, and mandarin.

Count me impressed not only with it’s linger and throw but also with the fun packaging which features a sturdy cardboard box with a flip lid and the Soap & Glory vintage style print on the inside. The bottle itself has a pink tassel and is done up in a black design.

Overall, this surprised me. First sniff was really bad but I’m glad I gave it a chance and didn’t toss it away quickly. The scent lingers long and strong plus it manages to work as a fresh scent throughout the day but a re-mist in the evening will amp it up for a night on the town. This is what I hoped and wished for when I purchased Soap & Glory Mist You Madly. Although not quite the original Soap & Glory fragrance I so dearly love it comes very close and fills my need for an official S&G perfume.

Likey very much! Comes with my highest recommendation for anyone who loves the Soap & Glory line!

Now I’m every so hopeful the new Soap & Glory goodies released in the UK will arrive soon at Target so I’m not having to pay airmail charges to get them from England.

I didn’t get anything spicy from it *pouts*
Apart from that, I had the same reaction to it, it is lovely but did not wow me enough to pay the price.

hey sohail aw sorry to hear it hun! I wish they’d have kept truer to the S&G original scent!

This perfume was not a love at first sight for me, but probably a fifth or sixth. After you first spray it, it smells a big weird, but on the dry down it becomes more elegant and soapy.
