The Muse is kinda enjoying and digging on the three new C.O. Bigelow Eau de Toilettes releases for the Holiday this year. Her latest pick, Ginger Mentha!

Anyone haul these yet? I’m kinda digging them but sorta sad they aren’t as long lasting as I like. C.O. Bigelow Ginger Mentha Eau de Toilette is one of three blends created for the Holidays and contains a blend of comforting, warm ginger and refreshing peppermint. When I heard peppermint my ears perked up like a dog that heard the key turn in the lock. I absolutely adore anything that contains mint of any kind especially in the Winter.

I do so admit though that I’m always terribly confused by all that Mentha stuff that C.O. Bigelow is fond of slapping in the title of their products. Honestly, this lacks peppermint or mentha of any kind. I don’t get much anything in the way of cool, minty or refreshing. For me the blend smells of a sparkling citrus or grapefruit. It’s not warm but it’s crisp and refreshing. The ginger somehow morphs into a tart grapefruit for me thus creating a fruity layer of scent. Although I fail to capture a whiff of mint I still find that the fragrance is refreshing and gorgeous none the less.

I do find like most all of the C.O. Bigelow releases that this lacks any linger or long wear. A few squirts will get you two or three hours of wear but that’s about it. You’ll need a refresher throughout the day to enjoy the fragrance to it’s fullest ability.

Overall, I’m loving all the new C.O. Bigelow fragrances but I just wish they’d wear longer and I’d totally dig the mint, please bring the mint, k, thanks.

Anyone try these?

got all 3 last month…ginger was a little masculine for me, so a tad dissappointed. Winter Lemon a little musky…preferred the original lemon, and Winter Petal suprisingly good, since I am not into florals much! This one was floral, but very “pointsettia on a cold day” type. :0)

no kid Julie. mostly for me it was grapefruity! haven’t tried winter petal yet, MUST HAVE 😀

You do a really great job describing fragrances. I think that is an accomplishment so props. I am braving the mall tomorrow so I might just go sniff around and check these out. I usually skip anything minty smelling but if they mentha doesn’t = smell like a peppermint lifesaver, I might just like em 🙂

I have the ginger mentha, and it suppose to be eau tha parfum, wich is not, neither eau tha toilette, it’s more like refreshing body spray, I’m totally disappointed with C.O Bigelow, what a shame!!!
