DuWop Spring Collection 2010: DuWop Plumping Paste

Phew this Muse was quite relieved when she read over the DuWop Plumping Paste details because honestly, for a second there, Spring was becoming mighty expensive, I’m just left wanting everything!

Jump ahead to read about the DuWop Spring Collection 2010 and the good word on DuWop Plumping Paste.

As I was saying I was relieved to hear that DuWop Plumping Paste ($18) is something I can wait to buy. At first glance I thought it was a brand new gloss, in that case it would end up quickly in my cart, but turns out it’s actually a lip scrub.

DuWop Spring Collection 2010 1

Plumping Paste is a lip mask to conditions, exfoliates, and plumps your pout. It’s made up of castor seed oil and jojoba to exfoliate and soften your pout. Simply massage on and wipe away after 10 minutes.

It sounds very interesting but I think it’s something I can hold off on for a minute.

DuWop is also introducing a new lip kit for Spring which includes it’s new plumping paste. Duwop Plumparazzi Kit ($38.50) includes DuWop Plumping Paste plus DuWop Lip Venom, DuWop Venom Gloss, and DuWop Prime Venom.

And finally DuWop Eyecatcher Shadows ($20) are brand new shadows which are made up of a satin matte shade and a shimmering shade to contract the color of your iris to create an eye catching shadow look. The photo doesn’t look like a duo but I imagine up close you’ll see the different finishes. The shadow is available in three shades to compliment eye colors in blue, brown, and green.

I can probably hold off on much of this while I get the rest of my Spring shopping done but I’ll probably come back to the paste and shadows at a later date to test out and review for you. Just my list is so long as is some items will have to wait for later.

What do you think?

Interesting…not too gone on the scrub but I’m a sucker for products that promise to bring out the colour of my eyes!

Plumparazzi? They couldn’t get any more imaginitive than to copy Benefit’s Powderazzi for a name? That aside, I’ve never been much of a DuWop fan since it seems their top product is the lip plumper and I was blessed with full lips. But I’m curious, what color is the eye shadow for blue eyes?

    • the Muse

ha Kristina yes I guess the names are similar. I’m really a lover of DuWop product 🙂 I tend to collect alot of their items…..the shadow for blue eyes is taupe beigy…but the swatch online is kinda deceiving so have to see in person first 🙂

  • Laura

Well have got to get it! I love lip scrubs. And my favorite
from Laura Heller is no longer stocked 🙁
I have been using Smashbox’s lip scrub and it’s
    Greasy with zero scrubbing.

Pass. Tried the Prime Venom and was not impressed. I liked the tingling sensation, but it didn’t do much of anything. My lipstick/gloss still looked the same over it. Oh well! Their shadows are nice, though.

The eyeshadows sound pretty great!! I wish DuWop would maintain a line of eyeshadows, because I’m a big fan of the ones in their pallets. I feel like much of their products, with the exception of their Venom items, are too limited edition!

    • the Muse

you me too smirking I’d really love that. They had duos a while ago but they were pastel and awful! I really love the palettes myself, wish they’d start doing more single versions! It’s true much of the line ends up LE 😛

I need a lip masky scrub thing. I might have to try that… not sure about the shadows but the kit with the venom is a good deal and I like all the other products so maybe ..we’ll see what guerlain and Chanel do me in for first. 🙂

    • the Muse

guerlain and chanel are working there magic melissa may have to put duwop on my back burner 🙂

    Darling all knowledgeable Muse,

I’ve spied the plumparazzi kit on Sephora, their site has read “temporarily out of stock” for over a week now. Did I miss this product or is it one of those that has not officially been released yet, even though Sephora is showing it?(I really hate that they do that)

I hope I didn’t miss out – I’ve yet to try any of DuWops lip products & this would such an awesome, budget friendly way to try ‘um!

Thanks for your time & again you are awesome!

    • the Muse

hi shannon sorry for the delay 😀 *hugs*

you didn’t miss it, just not in stock yet 😀 should be by now though haven’t checked 🙂 I hate that too but it’s only b/c they haven’t actually gotten the stock in as of yet :-d

Aw thanks hun! You’re awesome back! Big HUGS!

  • Laura

So the 15% coupon at Sephora was out – and the Plumperazzi was gone from online 🙁

I looked on Ebay – no such luck 🙁

I got to a Sephora store (a little one, no one goes there) and there it was tuckedin the corner display with DUST on it! I SNAGGED IT.

Wow, this stuff has a cinnamon burn to it! Likey very much.

    • the Muse

lol laura loved the “with dust on it…” LMAO!

      😀

      glad you’re enjoying 😀
