Etude House Collagen Moistfull Essence-In Base Review
I’m still testing out the Etude House Collagen Moistfull Collection, little slow I know. It’s been kinda an uneventful ride so far in all honesty. I’m not really particularly glad or sad that I purchased the entire collection but as of late Etude House is kinda a small blip on my beauty radar as it’s been a while in between stunning collections.
Etude House Collagen Moistfull Essence-In Base is what today is all about so take the jump for the review.
Etude House Collagen Moistfull Essence-In Base is basically that…a base..as in a primer before foundation use. It promises the normally stuffins such as whitening, smoothing skin, etc….
It’s a nice base but it’s nothing I’m tripping all over myself to buy again. The primer has a pearlescent finish which I’m not in love with, this was one reason I wasn’t keen on the DHC Shiny Color Base Q10. When it comes to primers I rather they remain colorless or at the very least shimmer free. Asian primers tend to lean towards bases with hints of a shimmery or pearl finish and it’s just unflattering on my skin.
Formula is quite nice as it absorbs easily and creates a nice smooth surface for my foundation. It didn’t really create any long lasting effects however and my foundation had pretty much the same wear as any other day.
I’m on the fence about this one. I probably wouldn’t bother repurchasing and I actually don’t recommend tracking it down. Unless you’re in Korea and able to get it at retail it’s safely a skip. Way better bases and primers available in my humblest.
Ok primer, but not making any great lasting impression on this Muse.
