Lorac Sparkle Pencil Eye Liners Review and Swatches

Tell me you’ve checked out the Lorac VIP sale by now? Come on I’ve been on about it for the past month.

Anyways!

I scored a few of the Lorac Sparkle Pencil Eye Liners, score at $4.99 baby!

Jump for the review, swatches, and all that babble!

I’m known for the shimmers darlings. Heck, I got hate threads about me on MUA and my shimmer-holic ways…this is how famous I am. Actually I’m kinda sorta famous inside my own head but aside from that fame is probably quite far away.

But no seriously I really do adore the shimmer, bit too much sometimes.

Technically I haven’t been too into shimmer lately but since it’s the Holidays I’m all about it. Plus I’m also about a good deal or two which is what led me to hauling the Lorac Sparkle Pencil Eye Liners. These remind me of the Tony and Tina Sparkle Pencils I so dearly loved, RIP Tony and Tina.

These are big old chunky eye pencils which you can use to line or define eyes with a playful bit of sparkle and shimmer. Like most shimmer pencils they fall victim to being a pain in the butt to apply. Let me tell you they look very pretty on my eyes after they are applied but it’s the applying that’s such a bother. They have a gritty formula so it’s difficult to have it glide across your eyes, I find that most all pencils that contain glitter or shimmer of any kind are normally like this, heck even MAC Sparkle Pencils are the same. Aside from that minor rant I likey especially with the price being under five bucks and all.

Overall, if you’re looking for a little bit of cheap for some Holiday sparkle I’d grab a few. Particularly if you’re a fan of the Soft Sparkle Liner from MAC or Tony & Tina’s version from yesteryear. They pack plenty of shimmer for a sparkling, festive look! I got three shades gold, pink, and black all for $15, I’m thinking you can’t go wrong.

Likey!

Available now from Lorac.

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I really like the gold! I’ve tried a couple sparkly golds in the past but they’ve all turned out to be dull…this one looks so glamorous! I’m a sucker for sparkle and shine too, so these are very tempting…but I probably won’t indulge. Not feeling them enough, plus I’m totally obsessed with Urban Decay’s pencils as of the moment.

Marina can’t blame you UD pencils rock it 😀 Did you get any of the stashes? 😀 I’m always kinda sorta disappointed in golds too..UD used to have sparkle pencils and one was el dorado…LOVED that 😀

Eeeek … I totes forgot about LORAC’s VIP event! I buzzed on over to their side of the internet and hauled like my life depended on it: two sparkly eye pencils, one eyeliner, two cheek stamps, and three eyeshadows. Yay!
