L’Oreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Anti-Dull Skin Primer Review

LOreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Anti-Dull Skin Primer 1

The Muse is still having a bit of a tantrum that the new LOreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Collection that hit England earlier this year has yet to rear it’s head on this side of the pond. It looks like such an interesting array of products and it’s such a blooming shame it’s failed to come to the US as of yet.

No worries I’m kinda sorta keeping my fingers crossed that it’ll pop up come Spring. What are our chances?

In the mean time I’ll show you one item I was lucky enough to try out when a friend gifted me with it recently.

Check it!

Ahhh the chore of being dull. Not dull personality wise mind you but dull skin, yup I has it. My skin goes through some sort of transition period when the seasons change and it ends up looking terribly dull.

LOreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Skin Primer comes in an array of formulas for correcting not only dullness but other woes such as redness. As for me I was all about the anti-dullness version.

L’Oreal got just about everything right with the primer but sadly it doesn’t actually work at making my skin lively again and dullness still continues to stick around. The formula is soft and moisturizing, it blends seamlessly into the skin and is a really good primer and base for foundation for anyone who has dry skin. The color is a nude peach but honestly this shade does nothing for brightening, whitening, or freshening tired skin.

If you’re skin is dry and you’re looking for a little extra something to create a good working canvas for makeup I highly suggest checking out LOreal Paris Studio Secrets Professional Anti-Dull Skin Primer. However, if you’re looking for a good base to refresh tired skin this isn’t it. Overall, it’s a decent primer but just doesn’t live up to livening up this Muse’s skin.

Available at Boots UK or check out E-bay or a makeup forum to snag some from abroad. The Muse imagines that L’Oreal just might gift us with this collection come Spring or she hopes they will.

Anyone in England try out these new primers?

About the Muse

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Her mission is to bring you super honest reviews on makeup, skincare, fragrance and all things beauty. She’s in no way an expert on the topic and she sure as hell isn’t a super model. But she’s passionate about makeup and is seeking like-minded individuals that like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain, and ones that enjoy spending hundreds of dollars at Sephora without feeling buyer’s remorse. I tried the anti redness primer and I felt that it made my face even more red. It also made it dry. I spent 15 dollars on it for a little bottle so I wasn’t very happy.

    • the Muse

oh no krista sorry to hear it. no redness here but just felt it did nothing. 🙁

I just bought this today. Fingers crossed! I have tried the magic perfecting base and actually really liked it, don’t know if you’ve tried it or not.
