MAC All Ages, All Races, All Sexes Photos & First Impressions

Morning loves!

How’s everyone today? Monday blue’sing like me? I did have one highlight to my Monday morning. I’ve been catching up on the Adventure Calender on BBC since I missed a few days with it being the weekend and all. Sadly, I can’t take full advantage of any videos they post since you do have to be in England to view, boo, hiss, rant! Anyway….on the 11th Day of Christmas they posted David and The Proclaimers. Lucky enough some fan posted up the video on youTube so the rest of the world could enjoy it.

And I give to you, the Doctor, making a complete arse of himself.

Have you ever in your life seen David so excited? Not I. I got a grip on the fact that he was a HUGE Proclaimers fan when he was on Graham Norton sometime last year but this goes above and beyond doesn’t it? The fact that he’s wearing his straight line pants and geeky tie totally cracks me up, as in not only is David a fan boy but so is the Doctor.

Oh vey. The Adventure Calender needs to pump out more like this. Maybe on the 25th they can gift us with Friday Night Project episode, now that would be HAWT!

As the end of time draws nearer I imagine I’ll shed a tear or two, at least it’ll be memorable!

Anyway….’nuff geekin’.

How about some makeup?

Anyone see the new MAC collections hitting the shelves shortly? I know I’m on it like white on rice!

MAC All Ages, All Races, All Sexes 3

Very unlike me but I must say I’m lemming most of this collection. I really like what browns and warmer shades do for my eyes lately so I imagine I’ll be hauling many of the shadows in this collection. I’m also liking the looks of the lipglass and beauty powders. Pretty impressed with the new style of pigments as well. The collection looks like it’ll be universally flattering for a warm, elegant work look.

What do you think?

Worthy of a haul?

Isabella MuseIsabella is just an average everyday geeky girl who doesn’t blend her eyeshadow correctly, wears too much blush, and hopes she never finds her holy grail products because she likes the thrill of the chase so much. Muse! I have been a long time reader of your site! I love it!! I figure it is about time I stop being a silent stalker!

I am loving this MAC collection, I’m always trying to find my perfect nude lipstick and gloss.

have you seen the new Victoria’s Secret makeup collection for the holidays? it’s a shimmer collection. They have pigments and they are soo sparkly and awesome!

    • the Muse

      hi Gia!

I’m glad you stopped by today to say hey!!!!! 😀 I’m not good for nudes sadly damn but must say love love all the neutral shades 😀 colors are calling my name! whoa what collection is that? I’ve tried the Heidi Klum but haven’t seen pigments? Share! :)!!!!!!!

  • Melissa

I was just thinking that I “need” some basic neutral-ish shades for quickie days and for being a little bit “toned down at work”. Ty for sharing this. 🙂

    • the Muse

my pleasure melissa! I like the warmer shades for work myself 😀 I’m normally bold but the last year or so really into nude shades of gold, brown, etc 🙂

  • Nia

The only thing I am interested in is Naked Frost l/g and the pigments. But with the new packaging of the pigments I am not sure I want them for the same price.

How are you doing, Muse? Hope the Monday blues is not too bad 😉

    • the Muse

nia not so sure about the new packaging either…Mmmmmm debatable 😛 🙂

I’m awesome thanks doll! ugh I HATE mondays aren’t they the worst!?

  • irini

wow no way!give us back the old pigmen containers!we dont want these!oh common mac :'(

    • the Muse

mmm not sure how I feel ’bout these either irini! Kinda dig the old ones myself too!

  • Marina

So, I stayed home today and I’ve been online for the majority of it…checking out Youtube, my e-mail, beauty blogs…but this is the best thing I’ve seen today. I love it! I’m digging the neutral shades and the warmth of it all. Definitely wearable for work and school. Versatility!

    • the Muse

isn’t it gorg Marina? I’m really into it. I normally like louder, bolder shades but as of the last year I lean towards neutrals majorly…I can’t pull off the lippies but the shadows and lipglasses, WANT!

  • Ashley

I find the line name so awkard. “All Ages, All Races, All Sexs”…. So I could put this on a 2 year old & it would look okay?! How about my 12 year old cousin??!

    • the Muse

lol ashley I don’t think they quite meant 12 or 2 year olds 😀 I think they meant it would be flattering to even older woman and twenty-somethings alike 😀 kinda a universal collection for everyone to enjoy!

      • Ashley

Yeah I think so too but who knows… I see fresh out of elementary school kiddos who have a better hand with make up than I do! It terrifies me, really 🙁
But I agree, this MAC collection does seem fitting for all races, sex & (approriate!!) ages 😛

  • Cucumpear

I’m really looking forward to the brow products. I’ve overplucked for years and my handful of hairs really needs some help.
Hopefully I’ll get my usual MA next time, I had an different girl last time I was at the counter. Even after explaining that I have an eyebrow pencil just like Stud and that it looked horrible she argued with me about my choice of colour (Fling). She didn’t even show me more than those two colours, I suspect that Lingering would have been an even better colour.
    /rant

    • the Muse

hey cucumpear! I’m the exact opposite, my brows grow like weeds 😛 I hate it! ewwwwww HATE MA’s that want to push off colors I hate! They do that to me with foundation all the time, they love giving me dark brown foundation and saying how great a match it is for my skin…NO thanks!

  • M.A.C.nunu

I will be checking this out as I am STILL on the hunt for a perfect nude pink lippy. You know what kinda turns me off tho…the word ‘brown’ being used to describe any lip product. Does anyone really look good with brown lips? like seriously? I tried it once for a laugh and I ended up looking like corpse bride xD.
Then again there’s this whole trend of black lip products which il non comprenden.

    • the Muse

fear I can’t do nudes nunu make me look awful full in the face yak! wish I could. LOL agreed 😀 some black lippies are ok a bit sheer and subtle but some of those hardcore goth ones, I think NOT!

  • Christine

i must say that i’m inpressed with it. now everyone can choose something that’s right for them. there are many times when we just aren’t aware what would enhance our beauty with the products we buy and such
