MeMeMe Poppy Tint for Cheeks and Lips Review and Swatches

Good Afternoon lovies!

Little busy here today! Just a note I have ALOT of comments to get through and I’ll be replying soon but I am behind, just wanted you to know where I am today.

Today I’m hitting pink hard so I dragged out my bottle of MeMeMe Poppy Tint for Cheeks and Lips.

Check it after the jump!

Oooo MeMeMe I’m telling on you! UK Brand MeMeMe continues to come out with awesome dupes of Benefit products, it’s latest, the new MeMeMe Poppy Tint for Cheeks and Lips which mimics Benefit’s popular Posietint.

MeMeMe is a brand available exclusively within the UK and can be found at Superdrug. If you check out E-bay UK occasionally an auction or two pops up with products from the brand. I get my fix from a good friend in England who did a little shopping for me.

This isn’t the first Benefit cop off from MeMeMe as they have done up a dupe of Benefit Benetint as well prior.

MeMeMe MeMeMe Poppy Tint is the same general idea as Benefit Posietint. Same formula, same shade. Not alot of different going on here. It’s basically a cheek and lip stain that’s a light, pretty pink shade. It’s a watery gel-like formula that blends easily onto the skin and leaves behind a very subtle kiss of pink. The formula does need to be built up in some cases as it is a tad on the sheer side but once you get the desired amount on correctly it gives a nice hint of cool pink to cheeks and lips.

At 4.99 it’s a rather nice little dupe to get your hands on even if you find you have to pay airmail postal to get it as Benefit’s version is three times more in price.

Overall, it performs pretty much the same exact way Posietint does. Shameless of MeMeMe to create such a good copy, right down to the packaging practically, but count me grateful for a cheaper alternative!

    Hi Muse
Thanks for the reviews on the me me me brand, i would never have thought about going into superdrug and trying them out (im too much of a make up snob and love high end brands). However your right the stains are identical to benetint and poppytint. I want to try the highlighters next but i didn’t like highbeam, but with these cheap prices its worth a look.

ooo gemma my pleasure go check it out hun good stuff 😀 I am too but I must say the dupes Mememe does are pretty nice 😀 Highbeam isn’t a fav of mine either but I did try the Mememe one and it’s about the same as benefit and heaps less!

so glad you like this too! i have this and posietint and i think its so worth the 4.99 pounds 🙂 i was so happy that i managed to get it when i was studying in the UK. superdrug is the best place for good quality drugstore makeup! :p

I realise that I’m commenting on a post from wayyyyyy back, but I’m reading lots of your blog now I’ve found it! 😀

I love Mememe Pussy Cat (Benetint dupe) and it lasts forever! There are a few bits and pieces from Superdrug that are well worth getting hold of, and this is one of them – I even used to buy it when I had much more money and was all high-end luxury, because it was such an excellent product.

Don’t even know if you’ll see this, but there’s a brand out here that I’ve been enjoying called “Good Things” – small range of cleansers, moisturisers and so on with no parabens, petrochemicals or SLS. Gorgeous smells and worth a look IMHO.
