Hey cheekys!

Whatcha up to? I have a sore throat, boo hoo. I just had some Hot and Sour Soup but sadly that didn’t help much. Oh wells at least I’m sporting my Smashbox Sunset BLVD Lip Gloss and congratulating myself for getting it on the cheap.

So I seen these little guys on Smashbox for $12 each during the Smashbox Friends and Family Event. They were in and out of my cart for a little while and finally I just said screw it, I don’t need more gloss.

I went on my merry little way and forgot about them. Recently, I decided to search them up on Evil-Bay and ended up killing it by snagging four shades for $9.99 and free shipping.

w00t!

Niceness.

If you want them after this review def check out E-bay as I seen a few more deals hanging around for them.

Smashbox Sunset BLVD Lip Gloss is the equivalent of a MAC TenderTone but considerably more pigmented and a heavier formula. First glance I thought they’d be quite sheer but I’m happy to report they have a nice little pop of color, mind you not amazing pigmentation but just enough to make your lips look pouty and gorgeous.

The formula is pretty dense and thick which I don’t mind as I really like a thicker gloss. It wears quite well without being sticky or tacky. I’ve always wished MAC Tendertones were better pigmented and thicker, my wish granted with these glosses.

Overall, they may be a turn off to those who aren’t keen on dipping into a pot of gloss, I’m trying to deal with that myself but honestly the price was right and the formula is quite lovely. Super shine, nice glossy finish, and great color pay off makes the Muse a happy girl indeed.

Smashbox Sunset BLVD Lip Gloss it’s a good thing.

Snag ‘em at Smashbox for $12 each (Free Shipping too) or my suggestion, head to E-bay and see what you can score.

I just bought Simmer when they were offering the free eyeliner palette. Love it! Wishing I had also gotten Melt…

They look really really nice! ^__^

How do these compare with the L’Oreal Hip Jelly Balms? Are these moisturizing?

I really like Sexy and Melt. I may have to check them out. I always liked most pot glosses for their texture and wear.

Sexy & Simmer would look hot layered on top of each other! I also like Melt, it`s such a nice tone. I think Heat is a little peachy/pink for me. I think I may purchase from Smashbox this Christmas! I`m so excited because I`m getting a new make-up collection because all my make-up are a couple months old, but really used up! Oh btw, saving Muse alert!! You need to edit this post (if you can), it says Hot and Sour “soap” but I’m pretty sure you meant “soup” :)

Oh, Man! I bought one in Melt back in the spring, loved it like a little pink child, then promptly lost it 2 months later when I left a piece of luggage on a train- in France. I had sort of forgotten about it until now. I’m gonna hafta go get that again.
